    and you watch Tng...the Data...i mean data PADD. We have then now too. Pc's from TOS. got them. Isn't the hypo closed to being in too????

     

    In TNG they use warp drive as a sign a planet is ready to know the "outside" but i have often thought it was stopping the wars. If we cuold get along and there was ET's watching, wonder if they would drop by and prove teh GREAT BIRD right? :)

    Poor Trip. It will be interesting to see how his grief continues to affect him. Boy that Duras was almost as obsessed as a Soong sister! Glad he got his Butt handed to him by Maywhether! I love that manuver!

    I don't believe in pre-destination paradoxes.  As far as I see it, you have one timeline, time travel adventure happens, then you have a subtly different timeline. :)

    what you, i, or anyone else "beleives" is irrelevant, its a show, they can do what they want, and when they come up with feesible explanations all the better, but watch and enjoy.

    Gals :laugh: , are insulted far too easily, when you go through our mersey tunnel to liverpool, the sign on the pay both, used to say manned, now it says staffed, men = manned, women = womanned, what do you want!!!

     

    They are just getting annoyin now, women are getting more rights than men these days, equality my @$$ :)

    Hummm...curious...where do you think woman have MORE rights the men?

     

    i don't care what you call me regarding gender as long as it ain't "baby" or something like that.

     

    I've not ever thought GAL was insulting, I think its tone or expression on face that is insulting, not the words.

    I never thought about it that way, but it actually does sound like some Fan fic i have read, but it was done and done well.

     

    THe only thing i really regret is that they never went back here and played around a bit. I've not even seen fan fics where they did, but i have not read everything....

    It was an awesome episode. one of those "needs of the one, or the many" episodes.

    The look on Kirk's face at the end when he says "let's get the hell out of here!"

    Looks like he had a part of his soul ripped out. Its very convincing. and sad. :laugh:

    I remember when i was young the thought of SEX was not SEXY. If i was attracted, i was thinking...kiss! not sex.

    I just ended a long term relationship this week and was thinking about couples with this thread.  It's very very sad when someone you love has to go away and your relationship with them has to end because of it. You havent fallen out: that would make it easier. You are still in love and you know that they are out there and the distance is the only thing in your way. I wish we had transporters so we could just beam ourselves wherever we wanted to be with those we love who are separated from us by land or sea. If you have someone you love, hug them every opportunity you can. Because you'll never get the chance to when they're gone.

    :innocent: I'm sorry to hear this. Is this forever or is there a chance to get togetehr down the line? :laugh:
