Wow, I'm sorry (especially about getting sick - it sucks when there's nothing you could have done about it).
I wish they were putting more deleted scenes into the DVDs, though (the Nemesis one, I mean)
-
But of course;)
(great picture, too  )

Urghm, toilet humour. i haven't seen that movie yet, but I don't know if I want to. What;s your advise, should I risk it?
-
I was young, but I liked it the first episode I saw - Mine was Where Silence has Lease (which I think I said before too...)
As for Data; about the middle of that episode, I asked my brother "who's the yellow one?", and that was that.
-
Ya, I was about to say - has anyone noticed how many people were born 2002? Me included.

Maybe she's just interested ni cybernetics, and knows the basics.
I have a split personality on Pulanski - I guess it just depends on my mood how much I like her. I don't actually hate any of the characters (with the exception of The Doctor, Neelix, and Troi, and even they had there moments...AND I'm sure that the list of people that I "hate" will have changed in roughly 6 minutes)

I kinda got that impression dsbs. But then again, does age really mean much when your talking trek, I mean if I wanted to (and the parents agreed) I could take my preschool gymnastics class into a TV room and have them watch TOS on sci fi. And then if they like it they'd start talking about it and if they keep it up by six or seven, they could easily talk to people who watched TOS first run . So I do not think age makes a difference in talking Trek! And like you, I rarely give my name and age on the internet, how can you be sure what will happen to anything you do or say? I am proud of my name, and I thouroughly enjoy my age, but I don't want anything bad to happen either!
Do I sound THAT immature? lol
I have a cousin who's ten and he likes Star Trek - as I said, it doesn't matter how old you are

If you're comparing Pulanski/Data to McCoy/Spock, I'd have to disagree. McCoy pretended to be ANNOYED with Spock, but I don't think he was ever PREDJUDICED against him...and I like McCoy, don't compare him to...her.
(He was 70 in the movies??? Just to clarify - were you talking about McCoy or DeForrest Kelly?)

Realm of Fear - My fav Barclay episode.

That was a great article, thanks (I'm not exactly new to trek anymore, but it's still good). I especially liked the description of Data - like Spock, but cuter  Of course, I think there's much more to Data than that, but still...
-
Do you have any of the seasons Yillara?
-
Independance Day (Brent Spiner), X-Men (Patrick Stewart), and Minority Report (I could have sworn the guy who played Lt. Hawk in First Contact was in there...)
-
HAHAH, that's great, lol  :)
-
The thing about Star Trek is that it's great no matter how old you are. You can't really grow out of it.

I actually quite liked Kes. She did well for a nice character. You know, usually the interesting ones have troubled pasts, interesting flaws (or they're just perfect, like Data), but she had almost no problems, and still managed to be interesting.
As for Immortal Coil - it had a great, very complicated plot and character development and it WAS ALL ABOUT DATA!! (and Rhea, who liked Data and said such nice things about him, awww  )
-
That's one good reason. Also, it's a school! (and probably a big one). You don't always meet all the people in your grade, especially not in other grades.
-
Yes, but as the Data we know, with the memories we know, he was 400-something (42?)
-
Still, there were some great episodes in that season (I really liked Encounter at Farpoint and The Big Goodbye, and many others but I list these because I don't know exactly why I liked them so much - maybe sentimentality for Farpoint, but The Big Goodbye, if you hadn't seen it, probably wouldn't have struck you as a good episode...if you know what I mean)
-
I've got 1, 5, and 6, and am about to get another one (depends on what the store has, though). I really liked all the seasons (REALLY, not just cuz they're TNG), though I did think the 1st was a little...I don't know...dry. Otherwise - all good. No, amazing.
-
Maybe the entity had some other business to tske care of...or maybe it was a REALLY long way away, or Lore had to perfect the way he contacted the entity...?
-
Thanks everybody! :)

I've read it (6 times, I'm ashamed to say, lol). Best Star Trek TNG Book I've read yet. Lives of Dax is also good, though.
And can anyone recommend Data books? They all have him in them, but not too often as the main character (I'm still looking for Metamorphosis)

Ooh, cool, I'm a lieutenant (AND I spelled it properly - without looking! YES!)
Pretty good article

BRENT Breakes??? Ooook then.
I'm sorry, though, but I didn't like Picard much in the first few seasons - at that time, I agree with the description. But he gets so much better.
Also, if he has an english accent, then why doesn't Troi? (Actually, a french guy with an english accent is so easy to make fun of it's the subject of half the jokes on the 5MV site - which is hilarious I have to say again )
