  1. After seeing all the episodes for a third, fourth , fifth, etc time, I'm shocked that TNG survived after the first season or 2. When I see an old episode coming on, I wont watch it. I know the series had to develope, but here's a Tasha quote from Code of Honor. (kind of) Troi had asked her if she was attracted to the king? Was he a king? anyway..."Well, at first, I was flattered, and I...TROI, I'M YOUR FRIEND AND YOU TRICKED ME!!!!"

It just seemed like the actors were straining all of their lines.

Wesley, even though I hated his character, in the first season, he was portrayed as an immature kid. I guess I'm not being fair, but really...Think about it. The first 2 seasons were clunkers.

There were quite a few episodes that I really liked in those seasons, but I agree with you about some of the acting (never Brent's though) especially Tasha's "I'm your friend and you tricked me" thing. I mean, first af all, how was she tricked? Second, I hate when they try and do that delayed re-action thing for commic effect - it's very rarely funny. Thirdly, HOW WAS SHE TRICKED??? (And do you think maybe they were trying to make the point that Tasha really didn't like Data? I mean, it was the episode after Naked Now and she's already attracted to someone else?? grrr. However, I'd like to believe that the virus just brought out people's secret desires - geordi to see, wesley to captain the ship, picard/crusher, troi/will and...DATA/TASHA! ha!)

  2. I liked both those episodes, though not especially Code of Honour. Skin of Evil, on the other hand, I really liked. Even though Tasha died...

Btw, which episode did you see the spiked weapon? (I want to keep my eyes open...)

Ok, after playing several episodes (I love having them all on CD) I found it and made a screen shot of it for you. The Episode is Reunion from season 4.

You can see it behind them in the background. It's not a great picture, but the quality of the video isn't all that great.

Ah-hah! I see it! i wonder how they could have done that...I mean, isn't it obvious that, if the prop had already been made, it was ALREADY USED? And if it wasn't, how could they have maed the same prop twice by accident?? oh well)

  3. I wont say a thing, lol! lalalalalala.

OK. Ya, the Turtle part in commercials made me laugh out loud. Yes, I am very immature, but I found it very funny (oh and the dog!! So cute! I love dogs, I'm a fanatic, btw. So bear with me)

Of course, need I say this?, I agree that he;s hot and has great eyes and messy hair... (here I go again...)

  4. Ah, its her birthday...i was wondering why i had a picture of her clevage on my daily calender today...

    Happy one, girl!

lol lessa. Happy Birthday (she's 43? Wow, I didn;t realize she was so young when the show began. Who's the youngest of them? Besides Wesley, I mean :))

  5. I've never hidden it. I have great friends, and they all knew that they can't change me. I'm really lucky, actually - the stories I've heard. But there's no point in hiding it, I think. And if someone stops being friends with you for a reason like that then (as many have said) what sort of a friend are they?

  6. Well, as long as we all agree. I don't remember where I read it, but I know it was somewhere that some of you might have read it too - OH WAIT!! I REMEMBER!! TNN said that they were an all-guys station. And they show star trek. Which would imply star trek is for guys which outrages me! Why do things have to be put in for guys/gor girls categories?? Star Trek (like the colour pink) is for anyone who happens to like it!! ANYONE!

  7. I don't think Data would want to watch. And lets forget about Immortal Coil - everyone's entitled to an opinion.

I didn;t like Chakotay much, but I thought he was perfect for Janeway (who I did like) if she didn't get to marry Marc.

7 could have ended up with Harry or, prefereably, the Doctor, and everythign could have been good. Oh well. Luckily, with the way that episode ended, anything could happen.

  8. I mean, they can not like the show but still be friends with you (and put up with it when you - well, basically I - go on and on. Just like when they go on about something I don't relly care about). But the worst thing is that most people don't even watch the show before hating it. I was once one of those people (sob). I thought that IT was a rip-off of Star WARS...and so I never watched it. Then my brother sat me down, informed me otherwise, and made me sit through an episode of Voyager and I was hooked.

  9. lol. GOod point Yillara.

My gosh, I leave for dinner and when I come back I can't even catch up on all the posts.

    Ok, Here goes:

about the only thing in SOE that i did not like was the really fake looking blood on Tasha's face. That always bugged me. - It was a "blotch" not blood. But I agree, completely.

I had heard that they had been considering eliminating the Troi character at the end of season 1 but they didn't because of Denise Crosby leaving. Lucky break for Marina Sirtis. - not for us, though (I'm sorry, I don't like Troi until she starts wearing a uniform. Not that that's the reason - or at least the only reason - but she doesn;t get good till season 6).

Even "The Inner Light", which (and I know I could get grilled for this) I found a little slow and boring, has its great merits, so I can't say I HATE it! - well, I agree. It had a good point and it was very thoughtful, but it definitely wasn't one of my favourites.

I have read that Brent Spiner wasn't too happy with Masks due to preposterous acting (his own) in that episode. - awww. Well, I haven;t seen that episode yet, but my firend (who doesn't even like star trek) watched it and...asked me who the yellow guy was. She said she thought he was great. Must see that episode...

Well, I think that's about it.
