    I'm beginning to think the people choosing the episodes are drunk or something. Peak Performance had about 2 seconds of Ferengi in it, Quality of Life isn't much of a GEORDI episode, and the cardassian episodes weren't the best either...they did do a good job choosing Riker eps, though...but I wish they'd shown the one of Riker [playing the trombone and Troi telling him it was a better way to communicate...(which ep was that, by the way?)

     

    I also wish they wouldn't show bits and pieces of shows that they AREN'T going to play...it's confusing. But enough complaining. They're showing 2 exrta uncut episodes and that's god enough, I guess :laugh:

    the web site HAS to end in .jpg or another picture ending. Otherwise you're trying to post in a website into the picture! (me fail english? thats unpossible!) Anyways, try looking for images on google, the posting those. If you search for the episdoe you're looking for, you'll probably get the right picture too.

    I love the Romulans. Do you know how perfect a film would be if it brought Data back to life, had Romulans, and found a well-writen, interesting, happy way to say good bye to the crew???

    How old was he when he died (somehow, if he's old, I'd feel a little better...) I only found out he was dead one or two months ago, long after I started watching. I was shocked. I thought I must have read wrong, or the statement was wrong :D *sigh* He was my favourite TOS character...

     

     

     

    I liked:

    "why did I do it?"

    "what?"

    "reconnect his mouth!" (actually, it was a pretty dumb episode, but still. Classic McCoy) AND

     

    "well, it's a different ship, but she's got the right name. You remember that, d'ya hear? You treat her like a lady and she'll always bring you home" AND

     

    "What;s so damned troublesome about not havin' died?"

     

    Ok, now I'm depressed...but I saw E at Farpoint b4 I knew he died, and I loved that line...

    Other than that, I think they came from a planet where they were heavily preyed upon.  Thus, their prolific reproductive capabilities was their mechanism for survival. :D

    I disagree there. Buy a dog! (and they DON'T reproduce at a rate of, what 200million billion per minute?)

    I voted both because...I REALLLY like both...but I think if I had to chose, i'd choose the TNG one...

     

    (you could put the TNG one in the tNG board, and the other one in the other boards...or something...if it wouldn't be too much extra work, or if would even work at all...just a suggestion cuz I can't decide)

    I think it was to really separate him from everyone else. Give him something he couldn't do, and to strive towards (as everyone knows he pretty much had emotions :D Ok, don't want to start another argument here, just pointing out that they needed something other than that)

    Well I know that

     

    I’m just saying in an overall sense in reality and not just for TNG to show Data has “limitations” and having him evolve (as I have stated in my last reply)

     

    So I agree with you there please don’t take me wrong

     

    However, I think that in reality it is not that realistic that someone like Data would have a limitation like this. Do you agree with that dsbs?

    Oh I agree with that! I wasn't arguing...I must have missed that part in your post, is all.

     

    I don't think that it would have been SO hard for someone as obviously brilliant as Dr Soong to install one little code that would have given him the option of using contractions.

     

    oh well, it was cute, though. (and this is why you should never mention Data in my presence)

    They need to make a movie, because we need to know what happens to The Maquis. They really left us hanging there. :D

    lol, that's one reason.

     

    I think they should have 1 movie (if they were good, i wouldnt mind more, but one should be fine...), just to show how the future turned out in the NEW timeline.

    Ever since I started WATCHING I wanted Janeway and Chakotay together! They were PERFECT for each other!! 7 should have ended up with the Doctor! THEY were perfect too! (both so darn annoying...sorry. but even ignoring the annoyingness they worked!)
