STARTREKFANS.NET was "born" on Feb 16th.

In that month and a half we've grown quite a bit, in fact we outgrew our original site (which by the way is still there, Old Board ). We've had a combined 6,014 spam free postings on both boards and a total of 137 members join (as of this typing), and in the days since Feb 16th there has only been 1 day that that we did not have a new member join and that was March 31st.

Those of you that were also on the original board have seen quite a few changes take place, all for the betterment of the community I hope. All of the suggestions I've gotten have been taken and in almost every case the suggestion has been used, so keep voicing your suggestions.

For those that were not on the old board and haven't seen that forum I invite you to take a look and compare. I think you'll see quite a difference, but even as limited as that old forum was I still believe it is better then the interface at ST.COM.

We moved to this forum on March 5th and have been rockin' ever since!

For anyone curious as to why we moved and how I came to the decision for this forum format, the old board was very limited in potential size. Meaning the number of posts allowed, the number of members allowed and the number of PMs allowed. As for how I found this forum format, it actually originates from another board I frequent. They upgraded from a very basic forum to this very same style on March 2nd (My Birthday lol) and as soon as I saw it I put the upgrade into motion for us. That other site is the Philadelphia Eagles message board. Over there I am VaBeach_Eagle.

Anyway, I just wanted to give a little background and history for anyone interested, and if you've read this much then you MUST be interested!

I thought it was a good episode, very interesting indeed. I would have liked to see the aliens be true explorers and what they presented themselves as, that storyline interested me, rather I guess I should say the storyline that I thought it was at first.

But over all I am satisfied with the episode.

There was another episode where the "relationship" was highlighted to a point. "Genesis", which I found to be a quite strange episode but there are indications that Worf considered Troi to be his "mate".

But everyone knew Troi and Will would end up together.

It really is too hard to pick a favorite, it would probably be easier to list the least favorites lol

Mudds Women was a good one, it was one of the original storeis written as a proposed pilot. I think 6 storeis were written but Where No Man Has Gone Before is the one that was chosen. Another was The Omega Glory.

I always enjoyed Elementary Dear Data and Ship In A Bottle... in fact I'll watch both in a little while lol

I too voted season 5, but I too could go with any one of the last 6 seasons (Season one only had a few good moments)

VaBeachGuy, if I can find a picture of the Data cake from the end of Phatasms can you use that picture for my birthday?

One thing you should know, when reading Enterprise postings if you see a that means there's a Spoiler in the posting and you should only read it if you don't mind knowing what happened in that episode.

I know I'm a day late but I just noticed

I haven't seen anything I would consider Spam and nothing has been complained about to my knowledge.

Each Soong sister got a PM from Celtic Swimmer giving us an official warning about going off topic. She said that was considered Spam. She also deleted some of our posts from the thread. We do admit we did go way off topic - talking about Data's clothes in the Frame of Mind thread. That was why we wanted to start the Soong Family thread.

LOL was it at least about Data's clothes IN Frame Of Mind?

Oh!  Any chance we could have a board for discussing varrious Movies & TV shows along with a music board?
