As for how many total only VBG knows for sure but I'd guess at least a hundred or more are currently in rotation. There are dozens more "seasonal" banners not up right now.

I really don't count how much time I see my banner or the banner that I have created for WildStar. Sometimes it does seem a lot.

a seasonal banner is when it's close to a holiday, christmas for example, they have christmas related Trek banners at the top

depends which one it is. because both my old and new banners are floating around. I did pm VBG about it. I don't think he's had time to actually fix the problem which I don't blame him for it.
