Airies 0 Posted September 29, 2004 Anyone here ever use a line or a quote from Trek to impress a date, teacher or anyone? I used several when I met my wife like "I dream of a galaxy where your eyes are the stars and the universe worships the night." Riker, I don't remember the episode, but he was talking to Guinen trying to teach Wesley how to talk to women. She loved it! Or I used to quoted Shakespear and other Litature greats to my teachers from lines I picked up for Trek, like my signature. "Angels and ministers of grace defend us" "What a piece of work is man..." "2nd Star the the right and then on till morning..." I could go on and on. Anyone else?

Valeris 2 Posted September 29, 2004 I quote Star Trek 26/7. It annoys the heck out of this girl at my new school who thinks she is my friend. I love it! I went out and bought Quotable Star Trek, by [i think] Jill Sherman.

Wishfire 2 Posted October 9, 2004 (edited) When me and my buddies would have paintball matches, I used to yell, "Cry 'havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war!" (General Chang, quoting Shakespeare) to start it all off. Edited October 9, 2004 by wishfire

Eris_IV 0 Posted October 19, 2004 In my case, my boss's name is Jim...A few weeks ago he told me to go stock on the sales floor but I work in the back room as a puller/backstocker so here's how this certain quote played out for me... Jim: "Go work out health and beauty" Me: "Dammit Jim, I'm a puller not a stocker!" I imitated McCoy's voice and tone, too! Jim just shot staples at me for saying that... Another time at work was when our friend James got hit in the knee with a box and he held onto it while moaning...My response was.... "Not everyone keeps their genitals in the same place" I said it Martia's accent! Him and Andrea had seen STVI before and remembered that scene as they laughed!
