Still a little sick, but not too bad. Mom watched the kids Wednesday so Robert and I could go out to dinner and a movie. We saw Phantom of the Opera. Loved it, going to see it again with my sister tomorrow. Nothing else much going on.

Well I woke up in a sorta blah mood today but while I was trying to wake up Jehovah's Witnesses from the local spanish congregation rang the doorbell so that put me in a good mood for the day. Talked to the son for a little bit (he spoke english the best) and told him that we're JW's and so are my neighbor and a family down the road. I haven't met many families from the spanish congregation even though I've visited their Kingdom Hall before. That's all I needed was to talk to a brother or sister to feel uplifted and ready to face the day. :blink: :o

I went to see Phantom of The Opera again with Gabri last night and there was a group of people dressed in full masquerade costume. Gowns/tuxes and elaborate masks. I guess it's no weirder then people going to Star Wars in costume (which I've been soooo tempted to do :blink: ). I love that movie, I just may go see it a third time.

Ok I'm really annoyed. Somebody took every last orange off my tree last night. What is wrong with people? Ok it's not a major loss (except that I love oranges) but it's just not right. You don't come into somebody's yard and take the fruit off their trees without asking. I swear some people have no moral decency anymore. At least they didn't touch my lemon tree. I picked about half the lemons off it just now and I've got a full laundry basket with just that. It's a good year for lemons I guess. I don't much like or use lemons myself so I'm gonna go divide them up into little paper sacks and go give them to my neighbors and save the rest for some of the brothers and sisters in the hall who like lemons.

I completely understand why you're annoyed; I'd feel the same.

 

I actually saw Phantom... last wk myself. Several of the girls in a group I hang out with really wanted to go, and conned several of us guys into going with em . Not exactly the manliest flick of all time, but it wasn't half bad. That Emmy girl can definitely sing.

 

Hope life's going good for you... other than that whole citrus situation. :lol:

Hi Ace. Life is going wonderful (other then the oranges lol) which is why I haven't been online as much as usual. Lots of medical issues still going on which is stressful but we're getting through that. I'm hoping that whoever took the oranges needed them for their family. That's not at all likely the case, but since they're already gone I'd like to hope that's what happened. Most likely they're on a corner fruit stand right now. I'm in a much better mood though cause mom came over and we just sat outside and chatted for a couple hours. I love talking to mom. :lol:

I like oranges but I got really mad at the grocery store for a really dumb reason. *the oranges said valanica oranges so I bought some and found out they were from texas not spain* but celemtines are really really good, little sweat tasting oranges yummy.

These kind of crimes are simply opportunistic in their nature.

 

The perps commit them simply because they can.

 

Crimes not caused by hunger or need but just because the opportunity presents itself.

 

We have similar problems in the UK, where someone will just walk by a car and scratch it or smash it's window for no other reason than it just happened to be there and they had nothing better to do.

I feel for you RC. The same thing happen to me when I lived in Buffalo. My family had two apple trees, and one night they where all gone. My mother that year had big plans for the those apples.

Sorry to hear about your oranges. That really sucks. My neighbour has an apple tree in their backyard but they also have an Akita so no one goes near the tree that the dog doesn't know. lol

I took the pic of me using my cell phone (the shining is the flash) looking into the bathroom mirror. That side of the yard faces the local heavy metal band, the other side is the Eagles fans. B)

I don't think I want my navel piercing anymore, it gets in the way and it's not like I ever really show my navel anyway. Now I'm just trying to find out if there's anything I'm supposed to do while it heals over other then clean it.

There is really nothing you can do about other than what your doing now. If you really have some questions on other methods you should talk to your doctor.

I took it out the same night and I'm glad I did. I've been cleaning it with saline and keeping lavender oil on it and it's starting to heal beautifully already. :) Glad to be rid of it.

Something like looking at your 4 year old at 8:00 pm and thinking "Well she's been really, really good today, I guess one soda couldn't hurt". :) She couldn't be more hyper if she were on speed. :( My stupidity astounds me.

We just got back from the Zoo and I thought I'd mention that the 2 new baby squirrel monkeys are named Kirk and Spock. :lol: Here's a pic of Rachael in her zoo hat and frog sunglasses. Paul was most impressed with the ducks in the lake, he didn't seem to care about much else. :o

Well I'm at home with Paul cause he's coughing and Robert had to work so Rachael went to the Kingdom Hall with Grandma tonight. I hate missing meetings. As soon as Paul calms down I think I'll paint my toenails and hook up my new printer. I wish that guy would call me back about the car. If it's been sold already I'm gonna cry, I want this car. Oh, and I won the skirt I wanted on ebay. A nice little pair of shorts for summer too.

A lot of sellers offer new clothes. You have to search NWT (new with tags) or NWOT (new without tags). I got both of those items for just over $15 including shipping. w00t! And a lot of people sell new items other than clothing. Many people use dropship companies.
