I am pissed beyond all words right now. I was sound asleep (FINALLY getting to bed early) when I thought I heard splashing noises. Couldn't figure out what was going on till I got out of bed and turned on the light. My roof just caved in!! It's pouring rain outside and I have a 3 foot crack in my bedroom ceiling and about a 5 foot section that's drooping and looks like it's going to collapse at any moment. :lol: It's 3:00 am, I'm sick, I've got water pouring into my bedroom, and it's not supposed to stop raining anytime soon. I am just praying to god it doesn't collapse anymore before I can call somebody in the morning. Oh the landlord is just going to love this wake up call. :)

 

And just now as I'm about to hit reply Robert comes in and says there's weird creaking coming from the roof.

OH thats bad, I hope it doesnt get any worse, and that someone comes out and fixes it soon.

It's gonna go soon. Robert's right, I can hear the creaking now. I'm just trying to get my clothes out of there. Might as well start a pot of coffee cause I'm sure as hell not going back to sleep tonight.

Awww *MASSIVE HUGS* ....good idea mopping now cuz if you leave it your floors will be damaged and after a few hrs it will start to smell ....more hugs :lol: :)

It's stopped raining for now, I've got 3 buckets catching water in my room. I'm going to attempt an hour of sleep since Robert's getting up. I can't go to sleep with buckets of water in the house and toddlers, not safe. He can wake me up before he leaves. I feel like crying.

That's awful to hear, RC. I don't know what to say other than I hope something can be worked out and that it can be repaired soon.

Thanks guys. I think between my dad and my neighbor they can fix it actually. Dad says it needs new tar or something like that (neighbor knows how to do that) and dad can probably fix the ceiling. At least it's not supposed to rain again till Wednesday. I feel bad since my neighbor's already fixing my outside shutters, but his parents are our landlords so they just kinda make him.

My sister had a talk at the Kingdom Hall last night and since she couldn't get a hold of the sister who was supposed to be her assistant I filled in last minute. I had forgotten how much I enjoy it and several people said it was good to see me on stage again. :( Not much else going on. I think I'll pull out the twin stroller and take the kids for a walk.

Ok I was just taking a nap and had a really weird dream (about the mods again) and I'm going to post about it real quick before I forget. Ok in my dream the mods all had a secret lair on the top of a mountain (picture sharp mountain range, at night, lots of thunder and lightning :) ) and the only way to get to it was on a monarail that wound around the mountain to the top where the secret entrance was. Alterego and I were in the monarail together going to some mod meeting that all the other mods were already at and right as we got near the entrance we ran out of track and flew off the mountain. Right as we're about to crash on the rocks below I yell "STOP!" and everything freezes (including AE) and, this is where it gets weird...I mean weirder, the me in the dream tells me who is asleep having the dream "I don't like this ending for the dream, rewind and try another". And the me who is asleep having the dream tells the me in the dream "Ok, hold on" and everything goes in reverse to the point where we were about to run out of track only this time we keep going right into the secret lair entrance. And then I woke up. Um...I think I'll go finish my nap now. :(

Hey rewinding your dream, how cool is that! *becomes dull* I think it is called lucid dreaming when you control events of the dream; I wish I could do that.

I do that all the time. I often know I'm dreaming and change things around, but I don't remember ever talking to myself in a dream like that before.
