Kor37 9 Posted May 26, 2005 I always tell people never to buy a computer at a retail store. The same thing always happens. If you need a repair, you have to send your computer halfway across the country to get fixed and it always takes weeks to get back. The best thing to do is buy a computer at a computer store where they build computers. If something goes wrong, they can fix it for you right onsite usually while you wait. Capt_Picard 0 Posted May 26, 2005 Stardate: 0505.26, Well I won my laptop and I have only need about 4 repairs: 2 being the same one I am having now, one with it not starting up, and another dealling with a battery problem. I might get my laptop back as early as Saturday so I am hoping... the channel will be up and running the week before Prom, and I am going to a normal dance Saturday at the high school. And a normal dance is you just go to dance, like at a club, but at a school. I found out that not having my laptop has caused me to type faster... I just wounder why. Out. A girl, which I do not know, came up to me and try to kiss me, started calling me her boyfriend, and gave me a pice of paper with a kiss on it... she used a great deal of lipstick. I know right now that Kor and MrP are passing out from shock, but this is also a great shock to me. The girl looks to be 16, 9th grader, and she says she listens to the radio show I call into. I have no idea what to do... luckily she is gone now, but what do I do next time she shows up. And if you think this is a joke... I can't tell jokes, ask Kor, and I am very bad at lieing. Out. I am almost done with everything I need to get and to add to the fact that I almost got hit while walking around my town four times, I can say that I am ready to go to this thing. It starts at 2000 and ends at 0000. I should be ready by 1900 and that is great timing because I have to ride or phone so I'll have to walk it... in near rain. Once I get there it should be great. Besides that everything went great. I talk to some friends, dance, got blinded by cameras, and had fun. I didn't do any slow dances, but it's OK.
