Jeanway 0 Posted March 26, 2004 I come across great words all the time. Most of the time I have a dictionary in my hand. One interesting word recently was 'Parabola'. It's interesting because it means: the curved formed by the edges of a plane when cutting through a right circular cone at an angle parallel to one of it's sides. So it's a Curve. We use the word 'parabolic'. In terms of language, a 'parable' is a story with a special twist or curve. Or to 'Parabolize' or relate in parable form. Jesus spoke in Parables. A hidden lesson or teaching. You have any? Please share.
