A Titan series would work best as a CGI-Animated series.

It was a decision driven by Cold War politicking, nothing more.

They wanted to appear as the "god-fearing" nation as opposed to the evil enemy.

The "atheist" Soviet Union.

So the words "Under God" were added.

The very fact that "Under God" is considered a generic term to represent many RELIGIONS is half the problem, since an oath of loyalty to one's nation IMO should not include any blending of religion in it whatsoever.

Allowing a religious reference to feature in the pledge clearly discriminates against non-religious people who do not wish to pledge loyalty to a god of whatever religion, even though they may wish to pledge loyalty to their national flag.

The second part of the problem is the use of the pledge in public schools. Which IMO brings religious elements into a public institution.

If the Supreme Court did their jobs properly, then the pledge would be altered to remove the religious element, but sadly they won't because their own religious beliefs and positions will taint their decision which is unfair and downright incorrect.

Troi looked nice from the episode where she started wearing her uniform again to the final episode of TNG.

Before and after that period, she was a mess.

Mr.T was outstanding in Rocky III.

I still think the Starfleet Academy idea works best as an animated series.

Either way, it's all good. If the new movie works, then great.

If it doesn't, then Berman fails yet again, the franchise weakens further, and it means I STILL haven't seen any decent new Star Trek since the turn of the century.

Another thing about Troi I found annoying and unattractive was that horrible "part-Londoner part-Greek" accent she had.

The Borg are villains.

That is their reason for being in Star Trek.

Things like "Hugh The Friendly Borg" and "Seven Of Nine, Sex Bomb Sex Bomb...You're A Sex Bomb!!!!!" practically ruined the Borg as an effective villain.

Making the Borg allies and friends with the Federation is like the shark from Jaws becoming a vegetarian. It's just pointless.

When the next Star Trek series comes around, the Borg need revamping as a very dangerous threat once again. Like I've said before I think the "Reapers" from Blade II are the best way to think of the Borg. Agile, violent, vicious and totally single minded, more like vampires.

If they get you, you become one of them.

I would watch it, but after one weak series, one mega flop series, one weak movie and one disaster of a movie, another poor performing Star Trek movie brings the franchise another step closer to the end.

The PPV was better than I expected.

I missed the women's match, I switched to "Rocky" on SkyCinema instead, so I guess I'll just add the Apollo Creed vs Rocky Balboa match to the PPV.
