  1. I think it would work best as a CGI-Animated show.

I think Star Trek fans would simply dismiss a live-action show as "Star Trek 90210" like you said.

I would call it "Red Squad" and would give it the tone of a military training academy, rather than a "school".

If it were a live-action show, I think the idea has potential.

What I would suggest is that they start as fresh faced naive cadets, but perhaps a conflict of some kind forces them to be drafted into action quicker than they thought, and they experience the darker side of Starfleet life.

Slowly they would lose their naive outlook.

  2. And that is exactly my problem lately with the trivia. I work so hard all week coming up with good interesting questions. I watch Star Trek every night to get them..And the answers are easiliy found with a couple of strokes of the keyboard..I'm out of good questions to ask..Why should I bother killing myself over this?

    Dude, chill.

Don't bother watching the episodes to find questions.

You WILL kill yourself doing all that.

Just use the sites I provided, to find questions.

They don't have to require a Ph.D to answer them. If you make the questions too obscure or difficult, people just tend to say "Meh, who cares" and won't bother answering them.

    For example, check this out:

Which educational institute produced a study relating to matter and anti-matter duplication?

  3. a bit off subject, tell me the purpose of rank.

To make ourselves feel big and important.

What does it do for one to have it

It makes ourselves feel big and important.

and is triva the only way to achive it?

    Yep.

  4. ^ But it takes some of the challenge out of it. And personally, I like the challenge of trying to advance in rank.

    It's hardly a challenge.

The answers to most of the questions are easy enough to find.

SpaceTigger mentioned being burned out. Setting fewer questions, perhaps only eight, would ease the load on him.

Ten points per question, with two questions containing bonus questions of five points each, would solve the problem.

As for ranks, until you get to the higher levels, people tend to fly through the lower ranks quickly anyway, so it makes little difference.

Interestingly enough, if the trivia questions are set every week under the current points system, I only need to play trivia for another seven weeks before I achieve Super Q rank and can retire from trivia. :inlove:

  5. Yeah that's a decent promo.

I haven't bothered reviewing WWE Monday Night RAW for the last week or so, because it makes no sense to do it until they move back the USA. They seem to be just killing time until they make the move.

When they move over to USA, massive improvements are needed.

I've all but given up on WWE SmackDOWN. It's been terrible for months.

  6. It really didn't matter for a number of reasons:

1- The character would never have appeared again anyway, since it was going to be the last TNG movie.

2- The character had gone as far as it could. The "Pinnochio" schtick had run its course.

3- The movie was so poor, the death lost any meaning anyway.
