:turns around: Alright, you maggots! Right Face! Right shoulder, Arms!

::realising after reading earlier posts war has been called off:

Because, Cap, that requires the use of at least one Brain Cell, and currently all of mine are otherwise occupied. You sound like your in a bad way. I have some extra marbles here if you could use some. <_<
that's just Jim for ya.

Hey, if you want to be a pilot, you have to start working academically speaking your freshman year of High School. being a pilot requires a Bachelor's degree, with very good math scores.
-
aight, cool. if you want information on any of that stuff, PM me or Ensign Jim Phaserman. both of us can help you out.

this place is exponentially better than startrek.com. Hey, SFM, you planning on joining the real Marine Corps?
-
thank you muchly

I just changed mine. I do that once every week or two. it's funny if you are a Bush supporter. if you are a John Kerry supporter, two words for ya: OH WELL!

Okay, I have added my picture, but I can't find your E-mail address, VBG. or at least, somewhere where I can send an attachment.
-
hey, LOTB, if you have Bitmap pictures of yourself on your computer, you can use Paintbrush to make it. that's what I did.
-
in that case, I guess I better find a photo of myself.
-
you realise, Stewey, that by WATCHING enterprise, you help keep it on the air.
and by the way, I respect your right to have an opinion, and as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps, I will defend your right to have one, no matter how,,,hmm, what's a kind word? misguided I find it.

Hey, do I like e-mail the banner to you? and does it HAVE to have my picture in it?

Why is it that there are 20 million fans out there who probably all have ideas for storylines, and only maybe 10 people are writing stories?Believe it or not I think the reasons for this has to do with keeping a handle on continuity. How could so many different ideas from that many people be managed, chaos would ensue imo. Too Many Chefs...
alright, Valid point. but, what happens when the chef you have can't see any more to read a recipe, and can't kneed the dough enough to make some bread? isn't it time for a new chef, perhaps with some fresh recipes?
Now I have to go get some lunch...all this Chef talk is making me hungry

I just watch Fox for sports and news. However, if they still had Star Trek on...
-
a Miniseries could take a movie like Nemesis, which was originally supposed to be like 3 hours, and break it up. you could have 5 episodes of 45 minutes each and play them one a night. that's a 3 hour, 45 minute movie. then you release it on DVD shortly after the original air date.

and I thought some of the tricks I play on people were evil...

I think there are plenty of story lines out there, maybe it's not trek that is stale, but the writers. I mean, with MILLIONS of fans out there, many of whome have written fan fics, there has GOT to be enough GOOD stories out there to make an effective series. even a half baked idea, like a new series focusing on an alien race, would introduce a new element into Star Trek. or maybe exploring the Enterprise B's career. there is very little known about it. the opportunity is there for Trek to continue on for a LONG time.Julie has a point. Why is it that there are 20 million fans out there who probably all have ideas for storylines, and only maybe 10 people are writing stories?

My wife wants to visit Europe, and I've been reluctant to say "Sure, I'll take some leave and go" because I am not sure exactly how Europeans are going to act towards Americans, especially one who is in the US Military (And though it would pain me so, I would probably only wear my uniform on the plane to and from there)

Mrs. Picard, I was in Berlin, and found alot of "eww, Americans. why don't you go Home?" in that area. is it like that where you are?
-
