  1. nope,

remember what the female Q said.

    "Think for a moment"

the result of supernovas everywhere shows there's a link between the continuum & our realm.

any Supernova can cause an opening to the continuum.

There's no just 1 nova that can do it.

as long as there are stars out there, there is a way to get to the continuum without snaping a finger.

All the Borg need to do is either wait for one to occur or cause one themselves.

In other words, the continuum is still at risk of an invasion, as long as no hostile force knows about their secret entrence, they are safe for the time being.

  2. the neurazine dissapated after a while, that is before they shut the life support.

hmm... but what about the Romulans? don't they breath when sleeping?

    :naughty:

i'm sure they return the life support to normal later, after all they only off it because they thought they need more power to the engines, since they didn't need it. I'm sure they return the power to the life support systems.

or when the Multi Vector Assault Mode is annitiated, systems went to a default settings.

    :naughty:

  3. They found something new for fuel, not sure what as i haven't seen it a while already :naughty:

but its not degrading, not like the one for the Slipstream Drives in "Timeless" which are degrading.

The problem about using Warp 10 are:

    1. People could die, remember that Paris have something wrong with his brain that the Doctor is worried about, now that's just 1 person the doctor notice got a slight problem, now what about the rest of the at least 100 crew? Some of them could have much worst then Paris.

    2. Again people could die, during the evolution changes of various environments they have been through. The Doctor could not cure all of them in time.

so that's 2 possible death situations.

    3. 1 small mistake & they will be at the other side of the universe :naughty:

or drop right infront of the Borg Unicomplex or in the middle of the Romulan Space or other dangerous or unwelcomed area.

    :naughty:

  4. Don't really like books, they mostly aint logical in some way because unlike shows, the writer don't have a group of scientist like people to confirm whether some things can be done or not, or how things can be done.

Anyway, what's destroying 1 planet going to do?

The Borg lost over 8 planets & that hasn't stoped them, neither would the fall of Unimatrix 01.

Their homeworld must be very old by now, i don't think it holds any "sentlementle value" at all to the Borg & especially since they got tons of other worlds & not to mentioned living in space in their unicomplexes.

    :tribble:

  5. A Borg Queen ruins the Collective, she's a center in a decentralized society.  She's their weakness.

I also have a problem with Voyager being lost.  They knew exactly where they were, they knew where to go, it would just take them a long time to get there.

    not exactly, IMHO :theforce:

    1. Whether or not she's a weakness, depends on what their purpose is, if they are a bunch of mindless conquerors, then I agree, she is a weakness.

But the Borg aren't conquerors, their primary goal is to seek perfection & bring quality of life to others, not waging destruction mindlessly or conquering territory.

The perfection they are seeking, includes almost everything, including individuality.

The Queen is the representation of Individuality a way of thinking unlike any computerized thinking.

another reason for a Queen, like i said she do not think in a computerized thinking, this is essential for the Collective, because computerized thinking alone cannot avoid or solve problems that doesn't matches with protocols.

They need someone who can think against protocols. Without it, the Borg may be extinct long ago, because of their lack understanding.

    Example:

Species 8472 war, if the Borg just followed protocols, they would assimilate Voyager no matter what the crew said to them, that way they "will" loose an advantage to winning the war, & they will be destroyed in a matter of months.

But the Queen is not the only one that thinks off protocol, she like i said, represents the individual part of the Collective. There is however a collective group that also thinks outside the protocols, They represent the Collective Hive-mind leader.

A 2nd in command to say. They & her normally discuss on things, plans, etc.

Here's an example a Queen is quite resourceful.

Wolf 359 - Locutus in charge, 39 & more if there's more, are easily defeated because he knows the types of defenses the Federation may use.

ST:FC - The Queen is in charge, that Cube manage to take out 1 force & some of the ones protecting earth, until an anomaly comes in "The Sovereign Class" which helps defeat the Cube.

Normal Cubes - With no Queen or Liaison in charge, they are still dangerous but not that dangerous. Because they are stuck with protocols to follow, it is harder to adapt to irrational opponents, as they do not understand what to expect from the target.

That is why, IMO, if they didn't had a Queen like entity, the Borg would have been extinct long ago. Only if their goal is to seek perfection. If its to conquer alone, then they don't need a Queen.

Since its not the latter, then they do need a Queen like being. This is probably what the original race was thinking also, when they start the "Borg Project" as I call it, lol

they know that a computerized thinking alone won't get them what they are after.

    :P

    2. Lost:

That depends on how its been viewed. To Starfleet & the rest of the Alpha Quadrant, Voyager is "lost".

    Another meaning

    - Parted with; no longer held or possessed;

they are no longer with the ones they love, their home & all.

  6. Only for exploring or recon duties :roflmao:

Oh & investigating the "human mystery" that they receive a message about from their future self. :roflmao:

hence the assimilation on the Federation Outposts in the Neutral Zone.

    :roflmao:

other then that, the Borg just roam around the galaxy exploring, but only conecntrating on interesting targets & in the Delta Quadrant mostly. :roflmao:

  7. They rely on starfleet mostly to keep them safe from large-scale problems.

That doesn't sound very logical :roflmao:

Besides, the Federation ships are all those who join the Federation's ships :roflmao:

they share techs. to develope what we see now. Its a multicultural ship.

    :roflmao:

  8. Major updates have been done to the timelines :P

    here are their links.

    Pre 2000

    21st Century

    22nd Century

    23rd Century

    24th Century A

    24th Century B

There is a quiz also, in the 24th Century, there's a fake (not shown on TV) picture in it. Try to guess which.

there may be 2 pics but that's just "rumours" speaking, lol

  9. That will be 1 tough movie to make, with the vidians.

the main problem, is how on earth do they meet 75,000 light-years apart?

They don't have fast drives, no knowledge to any subspace corridors, no known proper wormholes, etc.

If they can figure a way for them to come to the A. Quadrant for who knows what reason. Then only they can make a movie of it.

  10. I thought the Borg were interesting in TNG and in First Contact but by Voyager I was "oh the Borg again, microwaving leftover adversaries from the script fridge I see."

It is inevitable for Voyager to have Borg.

They are in the Borg's home quadrant.

If they don't show Borg in Voyager, now that's illogical & nuts,

    lol

unless they found something that helps them skip their space.

  11. hey jeanway, the reason why we know she grew a new lung was because thats what the doctors were saying when kirk and mccoy were escaping.  they called it a miracle.  and i think its a miracle for subtitles cause i never wouldve caught that without them lol!

    lung?

i thought it was a kidney problem, in TOS?

  12. That's ok :)

oh here's another info, the Andorians are but 1 of the few main races that started the Federation.

Can't recall the whole list but

Humans, Vulcans, Andorians, & some others, mostly those the Starfleet Enterprise encounters.

  13. Uh, incase u didn't know.

Andorians are from TOS. Enterprise did not design the Andorians.

anyway, I don't think they ran out of ideas is the only reason for Enterprise.

There's lots of reason for that series.

    1. To explain few things about why Borg came to the Alpha Quadrant so early & far.

    2. To show that no matter how many times u see an alien, it can still surprise u as a new encounter, lol "Ferrengi" have been seen in the 20th century & 22nd century. But still they don't know them in the 24th century. :)

    3. They show why the PD is created.

    4. They show how life was in those days.

    5. They explain how toilets work.

    6. They show why the Federation are so "interested" in Time research.

    7. They show the difference between official & common events.

    like:

    - though Enterprise met a bunch of bionic Zombies, Picard is still the one who made the "official" first contact with the Borg.

    - Archer's Enterprise is Starfleet's 1st, but Kirk is the Federation's first.

    - Ferrengi, Klingons & Vulcans have been encountered by humans many times in the past before their official contact.

    - Etc.

    8. They show human's first reaction to transporters.

    9. Show how humans survived with old tech.

    10. shows how they met the main races who started the Federation, after the coming Romulan War.

    Anyway, IMO

Enterprise, is to explain alot of things & fill in the gap between Coachrane's flight & Kirk's century.

another reason for this show, is to buy time for other writers to think of new stories for after 2379.

  14. Tuvok

as the old "now dead" Q said, he always tries to look for ways to gain an advantages.

While people talk on the view screen, he often checks out for any advantage they can get against any of their opponents.

"Eye of the Needle" - without being told, he finds out what causes the interfearance in the transporting the Romulan through the wormhole.

"Relativity" - caught & uncovered 7's borg ID in all that coverup.

oh & he can keep informations secret, no matter how hard people torture him. :)

  15. Drwho,

glad u like it & i am planning on the alternate ones that supports our current timeline

    scaleman

ahh, but are they merely words only like the ones I see all around?

my "achievement" is to make an easy view of the whole story together with nice picture aids.

Rather then words alone, which people may not even know what they are writing about. Or can't picture what it look like.

anyway, i never claimed that i was the first to do such a thing. Just stating that, i have done it & sharing it with others to see how all the series & movies fit together.

  16. There are infinite numbers of universes out there.

All created & spread due to choices people make.

We are also creating new universes by writing stories about them too.

That would mean, if u made a character suffer so badly. Watch it, lol there's a real person somewhere out there suffering what u brought unto him/her.

Anyway as for Trek, they already got tons of parrelel universes.

    - TNG saw a couple thousands of them.

    - All time altering episodes consists of a parallel universe supporting the current universe we are watching.

    - The mirror universe is merely another universe with bad choices of events.

    - etc.

in other words, yeah they do exist. lol

  17. There's a better reason to that.

    1. Because lungs are a more complicated organs.

    2. Neelix is a Talaxian, they not squat about their phisiology to grow proper lungs.

    If i'm not mistaken,

The Doc did mentioned that he could not just replace Neelix's lungs without proper info about their biology.
