The Ferengi has their purpose, and I agree that it's in DS9 that we got to know them better

 

I think all the aliens in Star Trek represent an exagerated facet of human nature.

 

I agree.. I even did a philosophical paper on that one day for a class... I don't understand why I got the highter grade.. ehehe

 

And I like to see how the authors see a totaly capitalist society. Makes us thing about if it's what we wants for ourselves...

I have always enjoyed the Ferengi. They are truely an representation of Capitalists. I thought the episodes when you saw Fereginar were hysterical. Everything had its price. They also do not give their women too much in freedoms. They are not even allowed to wear cloths. YIKES

I never posted on startrek.com but used the site for reference. A few times I visited the forums. On one of my lurking sessions, I found a link to this place. I did not register for a few days. Finally after a week of lurking, I registered. I am happy I did. This is one of the best forums around on the internet.

That sounds like a good idea. In fact that is practiced on another forum I attend. B)

Why does the chat have to have the time 1:00 AM as it's scheduled time? By posting that time, discourages the idea of an earlier time. The reason I am posting this is because I was told in the chat Saturday to write about another time. If the scheduled time is not changing, why was I told to write my request?

VBG, considering all that happened yesterday, things are working pretty well. I had to log on this morning but that was no big deal. Once I logged on it has been automatically logging me on ever since.

Lessa, you are messing with our moment. Lore is off. He will not be turned back on untill I know that he will not cause any more harm. He has interfered with things too much. Yillara, I am here. Do not let Lessa mess with your mind.

A definite no. I like Bakula as Captain Archer. Also, Archer is going to have some fire in the third season. The third season is probably going to much like the time DS9 was at war with the Dominion.

Gives Yillara a hug. I think we should stay on DS9 for a little while.

 

Before we took off from the other ship, I transported ddillard on the Defiant. I hope he is not angry because I had once run off without him.

Since we have Lore now, maybe I should study him. Do not worry, I will not turn him on unless I know he will not cause problems.

 

We dock at DS9. Lets go to Quarks.

They are trying to break into my neural nets. I have to find a way to block the images. In the mean time, I am trying to work on Lore. I will transfer these images to Lore. I will also work on shutting him off. Lore is being sent a routine to shut him off.

I have had a great time on the last two chats that I have attended. I just want to make a request. Would it be possible to have the chat scheduled earlier? Maybe it could be 11:00PM Saturday night or 12:00 AM early Sunday morning, EDT.

I am still trying to figure out this

None of the shows are more boring than the other. Now if it were episodes, I would pick Mindfield.
