  1. I would pick Journey to Babel and The Trouble with Tribbles.

In Journey to Babel you got to meat his father Sarek for the first time. You learned why Spock joined Star Fleet. The show also had a lot of intrigue and twists to it.

Trouble with Tribbles was just plain hilarious

  2. The best combo is Vanilla Ice Cream in Root Beer. Root Bear Floats are the best. Sometimes I like Vanilla Ice Cream in Orange Soda too.

I also like Vanilla Ice Cream on Blueberry Pie too.

  3. My fave duet is/was/will always be Bones and Spock. This is quite amazing how they argue so much but being good friends anyway.

    BONES and SPOCK  ;)

    Mrs. Captain Picard

I agree. The two put me in stitches sometimes.

  4. When I asked the question 'was tos overshadowed by the successive series I wasnt referring to the effects or the fact that it was old. What I meant was were the storylines of TNG and so forth not more exciting? I mean, the Borg, the Dominion war, etc.

TOS had some exciting story lines. What about "Space Seed" (the episode where we are introduced to Khan)? I believe the movie that was a take off of that episode is still the most popular of the Star Trek movies.

  5. Can't blame you there, Lollypop. I always thought of the Horta as a moving lasagna.

But, I relly liked this episode. It was sad for the way the creatures were so low tech, but the story was good.

The low tech creatures gave the show a certain character. Sometimes I tire of the high tech effects of today. High tech effects can spoil a great story at times.

  6. Someone other then any family member that is still living....

    I would say Ronald Reagan.

(Now everyone knows my politics lol)

That really does expose you politics too much. In the election for his second term, Reagan won with a landslide, so I guess a lot of voters were pleased with his Presidency.

  7. When Q first appears in Ten Forward with Picard, Q and Guinan have a bit of a stand off that implied that Guinan had some sort of powers that were never elaborated on either.  Also Q told Picard that Guinan was not who she appeared to be.  All of these things were never mentioned again.

True, she did seem to hold her own with Q. Also Guinan is at least 500 years old. We find this out in the episode Time's Arrow. She also could of spent some time in the Nexus. Anyway, a lot more could have been done with Guinan.

  8. Q Who is a great episode - one of the best from season 2.  It was the 16th episode of the season and originally aired May 8, 1989.  It was a fantastic introduction to the Borg and added more to the mystery of Guinan as well.  There were hints about her and her species that have never been answered.

You bring up an interesting point, Takara. In Q-Who, you learn a little about Guinan's people and how they were affected by the Borg. You also learn that Guinan has a history with Q. It would have been great to have learned more about Guinan's people.

  9. My older brothers saw "Khan" in the Cinema.  They said it was full of HardCore Trekkies.  The kind that brought Star Trek Books and Comic books with them, lol.
