  1. Hmm... :)

*takes his replicator home...  a fortnight later, a shuttle craft crashes through his roof*

"WOO-HOO!!!!!!!"  (Magic Carpet Ride screams on the speakers while Picard heads for orbit...)

*several months later, NASA reports what seems to be the "Enterprise-E" from Star Trek leaving Earth orbit*

    :(

  2. One mystery that has been yelling in the back of my head since Voyager ended is what happened to the Borg after Voyager blew up the Transwarp network and Unimatrix One. Was the entire collective destroyed? Is it in utter chaos? Is it crippled beyond recovery? I really want to know what you think.

Apparently, Resistance isn't futile after all.

Borg questions are answered in the Voy book ' Homecoming ' part 1 and 2..I believe, but could be wrong as I've yet to read pt 2.

  3. Well...Star Trek got beaten in the first airing of the Spacies ( The Space station is a sci-fi channel in Canada) to the likes of Buffy and LOTR, However Bill Shatner picked up a Lifetime Achievement award.

    Results.

  4. Picard + Admiral = Picard + Captain =

ya totally. just look how unhappy kirk was in tmp and st2.

    BUT,

if it helps us get one more TNG movie, so:

picard + admiral + one last TNG movie = :wow::wow::wow:

    picard + captain + no more TNG's = :) :( :(

    :)

    Now your talking my language!!

  5. Toughie...But Seven takes my vote..Jeri Ryan just radiates beauty wheras T'Pol is wig and makeup and Blalock herself is just pretty...amazing how I can make even simple things complicated.

  6. because Data is the most unique character in all of Star Trek to date and he is interesting.

he compelled us and he struggled to fit in, just as some of us do.

we could relate, yet we couldnt relate at the same time.

    he was complex and amazing.

with a character that has touched so many lives, no matter who it is, he wont be killed off for good without a fight.

i, myself, would love to see data back.

and if not, i just want closure. lol.

Im sorry..I know that I keep doing this but ^

    is exactly what I think.

  7. I agree.  Voyager and DS9 had alot of potential that they did not end up meeting.  I think that alot of the problem was that fans were used to Star Trek being a certain way, and those two seasons kind of broke the mold.

Again, nicely put D. At first I wished Voyager had stayed in "normal space" but that gave way to wanting to see what they would get into next, besides by shooting them into another sectar of space it opened up many more storylines ( Duh jdigs your saying) DS9 took much more for me to used too..I just wanted them to MOVE..I don't know why..I was so happy when they got the Defiant and actually got about call me old fashioned.

  8. And I had just reminded VBG that you had achieved a promotion..That's a shame my friend..I wish we'd had known of your ill at ease for maybe we could have seeked a solution. You will be missed and hopefully you will return.

  9. Okay, I voted that she should be charged and that she is an idiot, but my vote is kind of biased, as I know the woman (I work with her brother), and she is an idiot.  Last thing that I heard was that she was being charged with reckless driving, failure to utilize a child safety seat, and child endangerment.  Her driver's license has been suspended until the case is heard in court.

    Thats nuts D!

  10. " 22nd Directive

Help for planets which are making no progress or are under a siege

When there is a contact with a planet which makes no progress in his development, which is under a siege or controlled by another race, an officer can make changes in the social structure of this planet with the goal to bring the planet to a technological path."

But isn't that "interfering with the normal development of any culture or society' ?
