  1. I hear you. I don't know what's going myself. I'm had threads killed with no explaination, posts removed without any complaints, topics I try reply to that are suddenly closed. The rule here seems to be free speech as long as you agree with me. Personally I don't care anymore. I've made my concerns apparent(sic) to the mods, if they choose to do something about it,who knows? If this is the way it's going to be I'll find a new site. IMO there are mods here that should havenever been made mods. I have more that goes with this rant but seeing as it will probably be killed anyway why bother.

  2. I seem to remember a certain team from Louisville (with a certain head coach formerly from UK by the way of Boston) beating a certain team from Lexington. The rest of you will have to forgive us but in Kentucky basketball borders on religion, and this is a rivalry thing. :waaaa:

  3. I would hope that by the 24th century this would become a non-issue. From personal experience my mother and step-father are different "races". It did create a lot of tension in the family until everyone got to actually know each other. I put "race" in quotations because I think it's a bogus term in this context unless this has suddenly become a KKK message board. I apologize to whomever my opinion offends. PM me if you have a problem with free speech.

  4. I may have my timeline skewed but doesn't Enterprise take place some years before the Romulan War could take place? Enterprise is a prototype, Earth would need more than just 1 ship to fight a war with the Romulans. I would think it would take several years if not decades to build enough ships to have a fleet. Of course the screenwriter who put those lines in TOS story probably didn't think anyone would be pondereing them decades later I'll wager.

  5. There seems to be a lot of unsporting behavior in almost every sport recently. I think all of the leagues need to take a stand and make it known to players that this kind of thing will not be tolerated. I've seen more than a few hits in hockey that were clearly meant to cause injury. A few elbows thrown in basketball that were uncalled for.
