    Don't Sit on That Toilet!

    AUBURN, Wash. (AP) - An employee of an Auburn nursing home called firefighters for help on Tuesday because the toilets were exploding with steam. The fire department said there was a boiler malfunction at Regency Auburn Rehabilitation Center that caused a minor explosion.

     

    The blast set off the sprinkler system and flooded the floors of the three-story building.

     

    The Valley Regional Fire Authority said no one was hurt, but water damaged electrical systems and the kitchen. So, 72 occupants had to be temporarily moved to five other rehabilitation facilities using ambulances, buses and vans.

     

    The home was formerly known as the Life Care Center of Auburn.

     

     

     

    Imagine being in the middle of a # 2 when THAT happened!!!.... :wow:

     

    That would be one heck of a colonic!!!

    I am going to be moving soon into a bedsit, also known as a studio flat or flat with no bedroom. Therefore I need something other than my couch to sleep on. Therefore I am asking what do you think is best. A futon, a slated fold away two seater bed or a sofa bed (a couch that becomes a bed)? Let me know why for your choice.

    Currently I am a student studying psychology and english, however I am on a hiatus. therefore I work in retail, in a major luxury department store, in their xmas department. for the crap pay (5.96 an hour) I do actually love the job.

    Interview Tips

     

    Tip one, Fake being calm (JUst not so calm as to fall asleep.)

    Tip Two, Speak clearly and slowly (Just not as though you think the other person is retarded)

    Tip Three, be concise with your answers, but if you feel something needs clarifying do so, just NO RAMBLING!!!

    Tip Four, Smile, before you walk into the interview think of happy memories.

    Tip Five, If you are unclear about something ask it a) shows interest in learning and :nono: you may know the practice and not the name of it.

    Tip Six, Only think of the questions, not about impressions you physical appearance might give.

    Tip Seven, Think before answering.

    Tip Eight, when asked to take theoretical information and simplify it, always make it relate-able to real life experiences.

    Tip Nine, Have a sense of humor

    Tip Ten, Be confident, if you can't be confident, FAKE it.

     

    CV Tips

     

    Tip One, Your details in an easy to read font and clear size goes at the top.

    Tip Two, Include a two sentence statement about who you are professionally and what your goal is.

    Tip Three, If you aren't specific about your jobs, you are after, as I wasn't, Have different statements to suit each type of job you are after. So for one CV you could be looking for Administration work, and in the other you are looking for Retail.

    Tip Four, List each job you have had, and under each job, include what you learned and your experiences that you can transfer to the job you are after.

    Tip Five, Maintain the same font through out your CV.

    Tip Six, If you have volunteer experience even though it is recent, put it after your PAID experience.

    Tip Seven, always write; references on request.

    Tip Eight, Always highlight that you are team player but that you are versatile enough to work on your own.

    Tip Nine, Include only the interests you have that are applicable to your goal job.

    Tip Ten, Always write a short cover letter when sending your CV.

     

    Hope I haven't annoyed any of you by being asinine and making out you are all idiots. It is just the accumulation of experience I wrote out. And hey if it helps anyone then I am happy about it.

    THIS IS PURELY MY OPINION AND MY ANGER AGAINST THE USE OF THE MEMORY OF THE PEOPLE WE LOST AS A HUMAN COLLECTIVE. YOU ARE FREE TO FEEL DIFFERENTLY, PLEASE DO NOT BECOME ANGRY AT ME BECAUSE i CRITICIZE THOSE CURRENTLY IN OFFICE. (Just saying in case it happens).

     

    I know this will offend some. But I have heard via some reporters that a few of the neo conservative Christians viewed 9/11 as the perfect excuse for their own version of a crusade against religions and nations that didn't fit their views. I would hope it weren't true, but evidence does seem contradictory, it has been proved since that there were no bin Ladenites (I can't spell the proper name) nor any weapons of mass destruction, mainly because in the dying days of Clinton's administration Blair/Clinton, bombed strategic areas, therefore leaving a major mess to clear and to recover from to regain the potential for WMD's.

     

    End of the day, many corporations, including Microsoft, with the blessing or the coalition forces governments, have been carving up the recovery of Iraq and profiteering off of the back of those who have died.

     

    End of the day, the events and the memory of the honored dead of 9/11 has been shamefully exploited by governments who want to profiteer.

     

    (Those wanting more need to watch Fahrenheit 9/11 by Michael Moore. Much as I dislike the man, what he does do is give people another perspective to what is mainstream. I do believe the mainstream media, and I have friends within the mainstream media who would corroborate this, is being manipulated by governments for their own ends.)

     

    It is time we uncover the truth, the more we read around and ask for more perspectives, the clearer the merky waters of government truths become IMHO
