  1. One day I was reading on some website about a very... interesting topic. The Klingon Forehead Problem was what they referred to it as. As most of us know, the Klingon in TOS had no ridges on their foreheads. When TNG came out they had ridges. No problem. Everyone accepted that TOS was low budget and couldn't afford the fancy foreheads. So Klingons always had ridges. Now for the problem... In DS9 Trials and Tribbleations No Klingons had Ridges, and Worf commented that the Klingons didn't talk about that time because the thing where they had no ridges was embarrassing. Well... that was a problem because in Voyager the crew come upon... KLINGONS! However, that is not all. These Klingons all have ridges, and they left the alpha Quadrant about the time of TOS. does anyone have any Ideas why this is?

  2. I agree that I would rather be on Voyager as myself, rather than anyone else. Mostly because I have the most experience at being myself. I would love to be Tom's relief officer, so I could pilot the ship. I would also love to use the holodecks on any starfleet vessel.

  3. I think I can help on that. Based on the history of the Intrepid class ships, no, not all of them were experimental. Only about the first three, Voyager Included, were experimental. If anything the Defiant class was more experimental. There are supposedly 67 Intrepid class ships in service, and only 39 Defiant class ships in service. The Intrepid class ships aren't likely to have fixed warp pylons anytime. These movable warp pylons were supposed to move to vary the warp field, reducing energy usage, and thus pollution.

  4. The writers said that the Delta flyer is small enough to fit, but to get the interior dimensions shown by the show's sets, The exterior would need to be bigger, and thus te flyer would be too wide to fit through the shuttlebay doors. And, if Picard cares, The DS9 runabouts are Danube class runabouts. The history of shuttles, ships, fighters, and runabouts can be found at Bravofleet online.

  5. I don't think religion makes us inequal...just different.  But, in many ways, I'm glad ST stays out of the religious arena.  The vast majority of shows, when referencing or discussing any religion, but especially the more conservative ones, slam it in some way.  I'd rather they didn't.

Well, Actually I found it insulting that in VOY there was little or no reference to certain religions, but only some of the more polytheistic religions.

  6. First of all that pic was Hilarious, and true to some extent. There is not enough room in the shuttle bays for Nelix's ship, the shuttles, and the delta flyer. The delta flyer is, according to Voyager's technical manual, Is actually so large It'd take out about a meter of the aft wall of the shuttlebay when it went through the door. In reference to the replication of the shuttle parts, yes they could be replicated, but not all the parts. Some parts of the shuttles were too complicated for the replicators to reproduce. When the delta flyer was built there was a lack of energy, an/or shuttle parts on Voyager, making it almost impossible to build any new ships, shuttles, or otherwise. I suppose one could address the problem of storage by using the transporter buffers to hold the shuttles' patterns, like he technique utilized by Scotty in one TNG episode.
