Regardless of the steroid controversy, I intend to watch and enjoy the Major League Baseball games. I've already a schedule for the Twins home games. They play the Anaheim Angels at home the end of April. Sounds like a plan to me!

The Lady Bears of Baylor Uninversity are the Women's NCAA Basketball Champions for 2005!

My bracket for the men wasn't too bad. I ended up in the 76% percentile. The second round games were my undoing. :P All in all, a good showing by the big Ten. B) Now, tonight, its the women's championship. Baylor vs. Michigan State. I'm rooting for the Lady Bears! B)

That's great news, Odo. :P I've thought of shortening my name to "Jaz". Maybe I will give it more thought. No one here calls me "Debo", so maybe its time for a change. B)

I selected "other", as I wish to donate my organs to science. After that, I want to be buried next to my son Joel. I may choose cremation, as I believe it is cheaper than the traditional way. Though, I am not certain of that. I've found it helpful to view the body, as a way of saying goodbye and letting go.

Kevin Harvick, #29, had a great race at Bristol on Sunday, taking the checkered flag. Looks like a win for the "bowtie" guys. B) Unfortunately, Mark Martin was mixed up in a big crash. I believe he finished 31st. B) Jeff Gordon was 15th. Tony Stewart made a fantastic save after he was bumped from behind. Normally, one would spin around or turn sideways, smacking the wall or other cars. Stewart somehow did a 360, facing straight ahead after the spin, and no other contacts! Very skillful, indeed. Or very lucky. B) Next week, its Martinsville, and the #6 team has done very well there in past races. :P

::Jaz dodges pelted fruit:: "Oh My! This is a starship? " Lt Jaz exclaims. " If the admiral hears of this, there'll be heads rolling for sure." Jaz shakes his head as he proceedes down the hallway. Looking up, he spies something dangling from a signpost. Reaching up, he grasps the item and, upon closer inspection, sees that it is .... underwear? Dropping it in disgust, Jaz continues on down the hallway, muttering to himself "Egad! What sort of vile debauchery has been going on here? This place doesn 't need a McGuyver, it needs a Marine Corp drill sergeant!" :tank: :busted:

You got that right! :P And I have a pulsating showerhead, as well! :P

:: Lt. Jaz materializes on the main transporter pad:: " Did someone call for 'MacGuyver'? Well, I may not be MacGuyver, but I'm the next best thing." Jaz brushes off his cloak, then steps off the pad. Placing his knapsack on the floor, he begins to inventory his 'toolbox'. " Hmmm....let us see.... a roll of duck tape, a bundle of nylon cord, another roll of duck tape ~~ a guy can never have too much duck tape  ~~ bandanas, ...." Well, it seems my kit is in need of more stuff. A little bit of 'midnight requisitioning' is in order. :P Lt. Jaz picks up his knapsack and strolls into the hallway.
Just as long as you never say, "Get me a pick-axe, an avacado, and my snorkle... trust me dude, I've made bongs out of less!" it's all good!
Not to worry, wishfire! :P I'm not into bongs. Hammers, well... :P
Whatever it takes to stop the unruly tribbles ~~ those that get too much "quatro triticale" -aka wheat ~~ Those buggers will muck up the food replicators, for sure! :P

Its Final Four time! This Saturday, the four finalists battle it out. The two victors meet each other on Monday. I'm rooting for an Illinois - UNC game for Monday's championship game. My pick for the eventual champion is:

Luke and I are watching "CSI". One of the victims suffered extensive, third-degree burns. :P

I would liked to have worked security with Worf. Perhaps he would teach me some Klingon, and how to use the bat' leff (sp?). Fighting side-by-side in the holodeck with him would rock!! :P :P

I choose Patrick Stewart. ~~ Maybe a poll at the beginning of this thread would be a nice way to view the choices, and compare the differences ~~

Yep, this is the TV ad. I thought maybe it would be the lizard alone. LOL! :)

Of what I've seen, so far, in the USA, I would consider the Carslbad Caverns of New Mexico as a favorite. Another is Mt. Evans, in Colorado. The Badlands in South Dakota, as well as Mt. Rushmore. The Gateway Arch in St. Louis. In my home state of Minnesota, its the Boundary Waters Canoe Area - BWCA. In Canada, it would be Quetico Provincial Park, Ontario - via canoe. Mexico, it was the pyramids near Mexico City. The Colliseum in Rome, as well as St. Peter's Basilica, Sistene Chapel ~~ this has a fresco by Michaelango that is on four walls, as well as the ceiling! ~~ to name a few in Italy that I saw. There are many in the USA that I want to see, such as Gettysburg, the Air and Space Museum in DC, the Grand Canyon, too. Viewing a shuttle launch at Cape Canaveral would be great!.

Yep, Doc, I do. I like this film, as well. My fav scene is when Slim Pickens straddles the nuke, and then descends to earth, whooping and waving his cowboy hat!

Yes, he is in the infantry, so, yes, his odds of going to Iraq are greater than most. The way I see it, it is the insurgents in Iraq who should be afraid of soldiers like my son. You see, they are the best trained, best armed, and best supported troops in the world! Hoo raah!! :)

I'm mellowing out while listening to The Carpenters Singles.
BTW, are there any other Carpenter fans?
