Well, that damned demon cancer rears its ugly head again.
I'm not sure what to say.
I know how awful his family feels, and I'm sorry to hear the news.
Back when my mother was going through chemo and radiation I'd read these articles or hear medical news about advancements in finding cures and treatments for cancer, and I'd get so excited.
Times like this I wonder if it isn't all bull.
I've been a little under the weather all day. This just made me feel all the worse.

Yes.
Everytime.
I've never purchased a comic book, action figure, or any other collectible for the purpose of keeping it intact and possibly selling it at some time in the future for a wad of cash.
I play with the things. Listen to them, watch them, read them. Over and over again. That's what they are for (IMO).

Dracula.
Only because I bought a Dracula costume, complete with loads of extras for my nephew, only to find out he didn't want to be a vampire. He already bought a pirate outfit (and a really nice scimitar-like sword B) )
So, since I was kind of stuck with some really nice fangs, a big black cloak and some other oddbits I said "what the..."
I have no plans for tomorrow night, though, other than passing out a little candy and watching some scary movies.

A few nights ago I fixed-up an Invisionfree board for one of my aunts.
It's "family only". Since we're all scattered around the place now (California, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Indiana, and on and on...), my Aunt thought it would be a neat idea to have a message board where our family members can get together every day and chat.
Does anyone else have a place like that?
I told me aunt I'd never heard of it, but it sounds like fun. An online family reunion of sorts. B)

Well, since I installed a new security program (I now have like 4 running at the same time, each protecting a different area of my PC), everything has been fine again.
I'm sure I had someone meddling around with my PC. Hackerwatch did a trace for me, concerning the disabling of my anti-virus. It traced back to Texas.... B) somewhere around Dallas.
I don't know anybody in Texas.

Site looks awesome,VBG.

Whichever is cheapest.
I'm on a budget. B)
My preference is for butter.

Optimist now.
As a younger man and a child I was terribly pessimistic. To avoid disappointments I just automatically assumed everything was going to go wrong, fail, end in tragedy.
But having received Christ I now am very much the optimist.

Elmer Fudd.
Because I can do a dead-on impersonation of his voice. My nephews and nieces love it.
Especially when I start singing Ozzy Osbourne as Elmer.....you should hear "Iron Man". B)
I used to do Yosemite Sam. I'd let a long string of profanities (about Bugs Bunny) rip in Sam's unique drawl.....but, being as I am now a Christian I've had to retire Sam. B)

Very little.
I too have a cold.

Thanks for the tips.
I had a virtual tech from MacAfee scan my system and it found all kinds of problems, which are now (after chatting online with a real tech for almost 90-minutes..... B) ) resolved. B)
Problems with my privacy and antivirus programs anyway (components were missing).....
Everything still says there are no spies or virus' on my PC.

Charles Schulze classic comic strip Peanuts is my all-time favorite.
Which character from the series is your favorite?
Mine is......
Linus. B)

I don't know who I hate worst at the moment.
The Chisox for winning, or the Astros for losing. I bet on Houston. B)

My computer has been behaving oddly.
Twice this past week it's told me that I don't have Macromedia Flash 8 installed, when in fact I do (I had to remove it and re-install it after each event).
Two to three times this week it's told me that Internet Explorer is not my default browser and asked me if I'd like to make it so. But it is my default browser, so I didn't reply to the query and just clicked the X to make the pop-up go away.
Tonight when I started-up my PC, my anti-virus was disabled. I didn't do that.
I re-enabled it.
I've run a ton of spysweeps with my Spysweeper program. All I ever catch are very low-threat tracking cookies. I've run multiple in-depth virsu scans with MacAfee AV, and it always come up clean. No infected files.
Does anyone here have any idea what may be happening with my PC?
I haven't a clue. B)

If the vampire that wanted to "turn" me looked like salma hayek in "From Dusk Till Dawn" or Kate Beckinsale from "Underworld"....I'd be stretch my neck out so far......
:(
In all seriousness. No.
Most vampy films show that there are far too many negatives.
Just read Anne Rice's "Interview with a Vampire".
The vampires all go nuts after a few centuries from boredom and failure to assimilate into changing times. Most of them commit suicide or just disappear.

One of my neighbors is a sweet old lady named Elsie. She unfortunately is a terrible housekeeper (her house is filthy, her dogs live indoors, trash everywhere...) and as a result she has rats.
My cats go into her backyard at night and pick off huge rats all the time.
One time my sister's cat Willy ran into our house with a rat nearly as big as she was clamped between her teeth and it was still alive. I had to grab a hammer and kill it.....messy. :)
I've offered to clean Elsie's house, but she get's angry if anyone suggests her house (which smells BAD) is unclean.
I feel bad for her.

So Ben-H is responsible?
At Tohokingdom, he has people defending him saying that it wasn't him (whoever he is).
There was a minor thread war between people saying it was Ben-H and others saying it wasn't.I stayed out of it, since I have no idea who the guy is.

My mother talked alot in her sleep in the weeks leading up to her death. She'd hold conversations with relatives of ours who were already dead. I'd sit up and listen (the old house was pretty quiet at night). Back then I used to think it was just the disease. But now I wonder.
The night before she got so sick that we had to take her to the hospital (1-week before her death), she talked with her mother, who had died back in '97.
All I can remember is my mom saying something like "Momma, you're so beautiful! Did you go to the beauty parlor?" A few minutes later she started giggling. It was genuine happiness. My mom had a particular laugh/giggle she did when she was really, truly tickled and that was it. I hadn't heard it once since my dad passed away. But she did it that night.
And my oldest nephew sometimes sleep walks. Usually, he only does it on nights when he's had a bad dream of some sort.
As far as I know, I personally do not sleepwalk or sleeptalk, though the people living with me all claim I snore to wake the dead. :)

I get MacAfee AV/Firewall/Spyware Remover/etc...for free with Comcast.
Wish I knew that last July (a month before I switched ISP's from AOL to Comcast)when I spent just over $100 bucks on Symantec products. :)
I also use Webroot Spysweeper. It's really good.
Right now at Webroot, they are offering free trials of Windows Washer, and several other of their products. I'd recommend them.

I can make simple repairs.
I can sew, but not very well.

Sounds good to me.
I'd have to really think about which of my 2 sites I'd add..... :)
Could I keep one link in my sig and add the other in this proposed forum....if STF adopts your suggestion?Hmmm.......

My nephews have it, but I can't play the newer games.
I'm too slow, and I don't really like the new games looks and play anyhoo. I grew up on the old NES and the first Sega Genesis platform. I was hell on wheels with those systems and their games :)
Now I'm out of my league.

The same jerk ( or jerks )attacked Tohokingdom.Com.
He sent me and every other member gay porn.Just filled up our inbox's with the stuff.
If you'd like to check out those Godzilla/Gamera forums send me a PM and I'll give you the addy.
I've only been a member there for a week, but (aside from that incident) I've enjoyed it.

Absolutely.
I disagreed with Janeway's decisions so many times, I've lost count.
I think Chakotay, or Tuvok, either one would have made a better commanding officer.
So, of course, she takes her rightful place amongst the inept Starfleet admiralty. :)
Do you believe in a god/deity/after life?

Yes.
There is a God.
Yes.
There is an afterlife.
But not everyone will experience the same afterlife.
I strongly believe that our actions in this life determine the conditions of our afterlife. And not everyone that goes around with "Praise the Lord!" On their lips will share in salvation. I've run into my share of hypocrits and phonies in the Church (I myself still struggle on a daily basis to slay the worldly side of my nature and conform myself more into Christ's model). I've also meet many righteous men and women of all races, creeds, and backgrounds.
Though I know it's not popular or politically correct, my opinion is this:
Accept Christ as your savior and obey his commands. Spend eternity in Paradise.
Do anything else. Spend eternity in hell.
Most polls, even those conducted by non-Christians (and by those with a vested interest in the downfall of Christianity) will show that a majority of Americans, and even many Europeans (as well as other areas of the world such as Latin America and Oceana) agree with me.
Now, if only we Protestants and Catholics (and the half-million sub-divisions we've whittled ourselves into) could stop trying to stamp out one another long enough to carry the message of Christ to the world, this Earth would be a far better place.
