  1. I'm Italian. Some people said to me that I have a Venetian accent, perhaps because my mother comes from Venetium...

Personally, I don't understand very well the American accent. I prefer British accent, better if it is of London.

but I'm stranger, it doesn't matter what are my opinions...

  2. Sorry about repeating my self, but the article wasn't referring to just the message boards, but to...

    the entire STARTREK.COM site.

A few people have said they hope the site shuts down, but how many of us want the ENTIRE StarTrek.com site to go offline? There's a lot more to StarTrek.com than message boards, and I hope that at least the main site stays online. :)

If the message boards go offline, we could have lots of new people here. That'll be fun! However, if the entire site goes offline, that'll be not fun. :)

it is exactly what I think !!!

I will contìnue to combat to defend the official website!!!

  3. Dude, you just proved my point about that site.

..... you were much cooler over there anyways.

So, are you telling me that this is an over-moderated site?

I would like to answer to this question...

the fans here are very different from the fans on startrek.com...

they reflect very well before answer to a topic

instead to show their emotions abruptly

  4. It's a real TRAGEDY!!!!!!!!

I have been a regular poster on startrek.com

    I had the same nickname...

Obviously I am happy to have maintained my place here....

I would like that it is only a temporary situation...

Perhaps the Paramount didn't like the strip of the cartoon...

I hope that I am in no way a possible cause for this ruin...

My fanatism for Brent Spiner is always the same!

    :)

However, I intend to continue to write my fanfictions and to participate to Star Trek website anywhere...

    W STAR TREK!!!!!

  5. the grammar mistakes were no intentional, obviously.

Admiral Janeway can have had a lot of friends before and after her retrun to Earth... And Cindy isn't the best friend of Janeway! It is the opposite!

If you would read the other chapters, I explained that Cindy's grandfather was an important Admiral and so her family knew a lot of high officers...

I could anticipate it in the first chapter, if you want.

    however, thank you

  6. Really I don't know...

My choice would be obviously Brent Spiner, although I would prefer him as young as Data is...

I have finally finished my sci-fi story about the return of Data on the website fanfiction.net!

But indeed my hope is to find a boyfriend similar to Brent ....

  7. thank you for your comments! I think that Lady Britannia was a little aggressive...But I will try to change the family name of my protagonist.

B-4 is only the first step to arrive to Data...

Trekz is similar to my old teacher of English...accurate, neutral, argumentative. You have sure read a lot of English novels....

I am Italian, so I didn't care so much of the details in my first story. I will explain in the several chapters the story of the protagonists and her relationship with the other characters, this was only the introduction to my story....however, thank you!

  8.

It isn't really an "audiobook",( Brent has made an audiobook called The Grid), this is a real musical, that means, a story about the war of secession against the English empire with the actors who sing always.

    It is beautiful....

I have the 1776 CD, but I didn't know about the audio book. I'll be looking for it. Thanks for the info! <_<

the exact name of the audiobook is:

THE GRID, a novel by Philip Kerr, 2 cassettes read by Brent Spiner, Time Warner Audiobooks.

    It is available on amazon.com

There is only the voice of Brent who plays all the characters. It is a good cassette, but the story is a little boring.

If I were in you, I would buy another audiobook:

WAR OF THE WORLDS, adapted by Howard Koch from the novel by H. G. Wells, with the voices of Leonard Nimoy, Gates Mc Fadden, Dwight Schultz, BRENT SPINER and Wil Wheaton, LA Theatre Works

It is more interesting, because there are the voices of a very talented Star Trek cast who plays a classic sci-fi novel. At the end there is also a little interview with Gates Mc Fadden.

It is also available on amazon.com

I hope that you read this before you order a cassette....

  9. I think that this episode was written 20 years ago...

indeed, the society was very different from now , the women had less rights and they were considered less than the men.

    <_<

I don't think society was all that different in 1987 vs. 2007. It wasn't THAT long ago lol

Anyway, racist? I'd have to watch it again to see that connection. I've never made the connection in the past but I do believe it to be the worst episode of any of the entire series.

I say this because I'm Italian!

In 1987, for example, we had a few of black people, in 2007 we have a lot of them.

The culture has changed because the population has changed.

And also the points of views have changed....

In 1987 a black woman was considered here as an inopportune visitator, many of them finished on the streets in the nights,....

Today, a black woman isn't any more a whore, she has a black husband and her childs.

There are a real black families now, obviously they have manual jobs and they cannot study as the white people, but the situation is better than once, because they are precious for the industries.

Perhaps for the American people this seems very strange, but it is true....

Therefore I believe that there could be another worlds which are more primitive than the Earth.

  10. today I have heard a CD with the musical 1776 about the war for the independence of America.

The protagonist is Brent, who plays as John Adams, a fervent independist. It was recorded in 1997.

    His voice is beautiful!!!

I recommand it to all fans of Brent.

I've seen the movie, which was made in 1972 or something like that. What did they do make an audio book out of it too?

It isn't really an "audiobook",( Brent has made an audiobook called The Grid), this is a real musical, that means, a story about the war of secession against the English empire with the actors who sing always.

    It is beautiful....

  11. I have read a lot of star trek novels, now I have ordered the last novel which was printed in this year:

Resistance (Star Trek) [Mass Market Paperback] by Dillard

in this novel there should be the continuation of the story of picard, worf and B 4 after nemesis, it seems to be very intriguing...

  12. I like very much boston legal!

shatner is great in this show, and his friendship with spader adds a lot of humanity to the plot.

indeed, rene auber. is very arrogant, I don't suffer him!

spader has too much women, perhaps he should choose only one....

  13. Today I have found on youtube this beautiful interview of Charlie Rose to Brent and another actors from the cast of the theatrical play "LIFE(x)3" which Brent played in 2003:

    Charlie Rose - JOHNSON / LEMMANN / "LIFE (x) 3"

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M82NDgwd1f4

I have some difficulties to understand all, but it is very funny!

There are three scenes from the play and then there is the comment of the protagonists with Charlie Rose.

  14. but it is only a work of fantasy!

for example, I'm Italian, and I see that there are the Romulans, with an empire and a senate, which could represent a sort of a new Roman empire in the future...

also, I should say that they have a negative opinion of my ancistors....

    :)
