I have to admit that when VBG first told me he was starting a board that would include Star Trek I was sure I'd never visit. Then he made me a mod and I felt somehow obligated to show up once in a while....and now ( I know he'll never let me live this down!) I'm here every night and on weekends several times throughout the day. I don't stay for long but I like to check in and see what's been going on since the night before. It's suprising to me since I've only been watching Trek for 3-4 months now. Thanks again everyone!

Until about an hour ago I was a cash office specialist at a local store. In a few weeks I'll be working as a cashier at Walmart. Not exactly my dream job but it's either this or sell my car and live under the local bridge until I finish school.

So far, I've only seen about half of the TOS series and a handful of TNG but I like both series. I've also watched the first two movies and have ST III and IV sitting in my bedroom waiting to be viewed. :)

I don't have AIM installed on my computer but can get into the chatroom if invited by someone already in it. Not sure if this is possible for everyone, though.

Hey, where's the all of the above option? I put Budweiser (what I'm having now). Other than that I like Fosters best for beer. I love Coke with a double shot of butterscotch shnaps.

I rarely drink but when I do I like either rum and coke or Captain Morgan Gold ( a flavored beer). The rum with butterscotch sounds interesting, I'm gonna try that next time I'm out!

I wish i was able to see all of the TOS.  I never really was able to get to know that crew.  However this thread has really inspired me to want to watch them all.  Just goes to show how even in death the spirit of one can still move people.

I don't know if you get the SciFi channel in your area, but they are airing episodes of TOS. In fact, they are having a 12 hour marathon of TOS on May 26th.

That would be great, and like I said someplace before. I plan on making a vacation myself. Visit the Grand Canyon, the Hoover Dam and maybe get out to California while I'm there.
