One persons disappointment is anothers realization of something greater. I never put to much faith in the words of critics. I have always approached each movie with an open mind regardless of what others say. For me, The Final Frontier was a great cinematic experience and a film that i enjoy to watch. :)

I have all 7 seasons. Voyager had my interest from "Caretaker" all the way through to "Endgame". :)

Picard's origin should have been British, not French
I agree.......nobody's origin should be French.........
LOL - Spoken like a true Anglophile!
:P I kinda liked Picard as a Frenchman. :(

I gave it a 9. An interesting POV on the usefullness of cloning that pays equal time to the ethical dilemmas of harvesting a sentient clones organs.

I strongly agree with those who do NOT LIKE this movie. Lots of problems with Kirk's direction. In trying to be funny imo he made fun of all the characters and had them do things I don't believe they would have done.
The villain was lame, we again discover a relative of a main character whom we and the other characters have NEVER HEARD OF in 20 years?! One of my least favorite Trek movies.
IMO, on the surface this movie may have its flaws and i can understand where you are coming from. What makes this movie great imo, is the moral of this story which is exemplified when McCoy asks Kirk if he thinks God is really "out there". Kirks response is not only well written and his delivery of the line expert, but it also sums up the lesson to be learned here, namely that "God" is inside of us and that our very consciences reflect our beliefs in our own personal God. This movie also touches on the concept of accepting others differences as reflected by Nimbus 3 and the ambassadors and denizens that occupied that parched planet- although they came from different corners of the galaxy, they each had their own personal demons to contend with and that gave them a common thread , albeit it was that much easier for Sybok to manipulate them, but we all know how that turned out for everyone.

A good ep. Not the best, not the worst, just good.

An excellent send-off for the TNG crew. Data went out like a hero. IMO, the best TNG movie.
-
A great flick. I especially enjoyed the plot twist involving the Sona'A and the Baku. Great writing predominates here.
-
I gave it a 2. Really overrated and enough with the Borg already. I was bored after the second ep they appeared in.
-
A good film. I enjoyed how the proverbial torch was passed from one generation to the next.

Great!!! My fave trek film ever!!!! General Chang is great as a Shakespeare spouting Klingon General.
-
A great film. Well written and directed!!!

A good flick. Kirk and co. journey to earths past to find two humpback whales in order to thwart the destructive communication attempts of a space probe.Neat premise and cool Sarek appearance make this an entertaining ride.

I gave it a 1. IMO, it was too drawn out and the parallels between this film and the literary works of Melville and
Milton would be better viewed in the classic eps "Space Seed" and "The Doomsday Machine".

A great movie. I liked the story of V'ger, despite the similarity to TOS ep "The Changeling". Effective acting and the cool shots of the Vulcan solar system make this one of my fave trek films.

For me, it was average. Very predictable plot twists. One redeeming point was that way cool shot of the Enterprise disintegrating in the atmosphere of the Genesis planet.

no need to go ape, he was just monkeying around!
:P :(

A good conclusion to season 3's finale. Voyager finally moved past Kazon territory and on to more interesting places.

A good ep. Its nice to see that their definitely are bigger fish in the galactic ocean.

It could always be worse, the baby could have been named Candlestick Park.

It is remarkable how the characters changed during the run of DS9. DS9 had the best character development out of any of the Trek series.
I agree with you 100%
:P

I gave it a 1. This mediocre tale involving 4 whiny junior officers that are up for promotions was imo very boring. The only saving grace of this ep is Shannon Fill's performance as the very alluring Bajoran Sito
Otherwise, it was a dud.
