He wasn't manufactured by Star Fleet, or given to Star Fleet by Dr. Soong. Dr. Soong was no longer working w/Star Fleet people, and created, Data, Lore and B4 of his own accord. Data WILLINGLY joined Star Fleet under his own volition...isn't that enough to prove that he's sentient and self-aware?

 

How can the judge even consider having a trial? Maddox is a douche, which is clear, but Star Fleet giving ORDERS that Data be disassembled?

Gov't interference or not, some people take their rights too far and make fools of themselves. For example, giving a kid a ridiculous name. This is one instance where i support gov. interference.Whatever it takes to get the job done.

Despite a history degree, I never found myself that interested in the Titanic. However, what new evidence has been presented to prove that the ship was destroyed in a different manner?

 

They found a huge chunk of Titanic's double dottom and that proves that Titanic not only swiped the ice berg but also ran over it.

 

Also Titanic actually broke apart in a different manner then in the 97 movie. It started to crack at the top of the ship but stopped at the double bottom and then broke apart from the bottom up at a much lower angel then in the movie.

 

IMO divers need to leave the ship alone.

That is interesting. You know that Hollywood always does things unrealistically :lol: I would think that from the damage you described, that most divers would steer clear of it anyway. I hope they are getting paid good to take a risk like that.

Certain members at st.co seem to get enjoyment out of harassing new members and calling them duals of another member or just plain harassing them to point where they have to leave.

 

I am very saddened that startrek.com is still up and running. It should've been shut down a LONG time ago.

Yeah, you're right about that!!! i've noticed certain members from there come over here to argue and add nothing else to these discussions. On behalf of all true Star Trek fans, I want to say i am sorry for what you had to endure at st.com. It is truly a place for kids, whereas ST Fans.net is a place for adults :lol:
