  1. picard cared...he just had his own way of showing it....like how he lost what little family he had left

Yes, in the movies he seemed a little more passionate. I only wish he had been that same way during the series. Don't get me wrong, he is still a good character, but imo Janeway is better and would be the Captain i would (if Star Trek was real) want to serve under.

  2. I went with Janeway here. Both Captains are great in their own right. Picard is good at diplomacy and quite an accomplished officer. Janeway is great at being honest with her convictions and her command style is stern, but only because she cares about her crew. I saw way too many eps in which Picard lost a crewmember and didn't seem to care. Janeway, on the other hand always seemed to feel the loss more deeply. That is the primary reason i went with Janeway because she had genuine emotions that were exhibited often. Picard seemed like, for lack of a better word, a Vulcan. Perhaps, that is why his inner emotions were explored in scenarios that didn't "happen" (e.g. Inner light and All good things). It is not my intent to slight Patrick Stewarts acting, in fact, he is very talented. He did the best with what the writers gave him, but Kate Mulgrew's portrayal of Janeway was imo more profound and had greater depth.

  3. Imo, Enterprise was the "weakest" of the series. It started out great, but lacked some important character development (Mayweather) and suffered from bad casting choices (Blalock) and characters (Reed). There was much potential there, but it was unrealized for the most part. When season 4 was near an end and cancellation was certain, a few really good eps were produced (In a mirror darkly, Demons,Terra Prime, etc). If a 5th season had been realized my opinion would be swayed. Its just too bad that Enterprise suffered the same premature cancellation as TOS.

  4. The only time Kira's hair looked decent was when she was seen via a flashback to the days of the occupation. Some ladies can wear short hair, she was not one of them. Longer hair was far more flattering on her.

.........and I agree with SeeingEyeBorg that it should've been Ro.

  5. I hate to play devil's advocate, but his excuse is quite plausible. Especially considering that at times the bus is not expected to stop for the 25 min. loading of passengers. My guess is that these passengers were talking down to this guy and he took it upon himself to irk them. Lets face it folks, do any of us like a back seat driver?

  6. I gave it a 4. J.G. Hertzler(Martok) as a changeling is a wonderful turn for him. Neat scene where his character turns into fog. This is a must see ep.

True...he's quite versatile. But he's best as a Klingon.

Just wait till you see him play Harry Mudd!...

No argument here. He would make an outstanding Mudd, wouldn't he?
