Are we getting into parallel universes now ? How do we know the Germans they didn't win in the alternative universe ?
-
I'm not sure
I got up around 3.30 am, and I saw something in the sky to the east over the sea. I went outside to have a better look, and I thought it might have been either Venus, or Jupiter. Then I thought " Hey ! since when has Venus, or Jupiter been as big as a tennis ball". B). I went out again after about ten minutes, and it was gone. B)

Time travel to the future would also have to be possible if travel to the past was, because time would have to be understood as a constant; which means that all of time past, present and future exists all at once. B)Ktrek
These have always been my thoughts as well.
This subject as always fascinated me. B) I much prefer this subject to space travel...it's mind blowing.
Time travel would be dangerous if it got into the wrong hands, on the other hand I would love to go back just to be an observer. You could rewrite history as it really was.

I agree it was like the old ' Flash Gordon ' series, but I think that was the idea.

Mine has to be " The winning ticket " B) ...I can dream can't I.
-
This one is hard B) I liked ' Monty Python ', ' Yes Minister ', and ' Faulty Towers '. And for genuine stupidity I liked ' Allo Allo '
And I agree ' Mash' is the best thing that came out of the US.

I haven't seen it yet, just the trailers. And I'm looking forward to it B)
I saw the part where Arnie says " She'll Be Back " B)

You are Psylocke!
Name: Betsy Braddock
POB: England
Mutant Power: Psylocke is a telepath, so she can read peoples minds, control their thoughts, create illusions and discharge mind-numbing mental bolts. She can also intensely focus her psionic powers into her 'psychic knife', with which she can stun or kill an adversary.
Psylocke is also a highly skilled martial artist.
Brief Bio: Originally just a telepath, Betsy first worked as a model until she was recruited by the British SAS [bet that happens often]. After joining the x-men, Betsy was forced by Lord Nyoirin, an Asian crimelord, to reassemble the mind of his assassin Kwannon. But due to some foul play she ended up in Kwannon's body with full use of her martial arts skills. Kwannon, ended up in Betsy's body, which eventually died after contracting the legacy virus.
Betsy fell in love with Angel but they soon broke it off after she started flirting with the new guy, Thunderbird. Betsy has also been known to flirt with Cyclops, much to Jean's chagrin. Not long after her and Thunderbird became an item though, she was stabbed through the chest and died.

Very good list! I assume with Dune and The Thing you also mean the first ones? I cant decide between the 2 Dune's, they both bring so much to the story but The Thing is a easy choice; the remake, might as well add the remake of The Blob to my honorable mention and The Fly remake.
I mean the film ' Dune' by David Lynch, and not the mini series. The mini series did nothing for me, it lacked the menacing atmosphere of the books, and film, and the bloke that played Paul Atreides in the mini series wasn't very good in the part.
'The Thing ' with Kurt Russell was the second one. The first one was made in the 50's and it was very poor and funny.

I loved ' The Holy Grail '. The thing that cracked me up was when they were pretending to ride horses, and there was someone at the back banging coconuts shells together to make the horse sound. B)
After watching this film I laughed for days, and I had to keep telling people I wasn't laughing at them.

This has to be my favourite Star Trek movie. It was so funny, and had some great one liners with lines like....
"Don't tell me. You're from outer space."- Dr Gillian Taylor
"No, I'm from Iowa. I only work in outer space."- Kirk
Scotty... " Hello Computer "
Scotty..." A keyboard, how quaint "
I must have watched this film about 10 times now.
-
Should the captain go on away missions? As long as he's not wearing a red shirt, he should do just fine.
Lol ! That's why we knew Kirk would be safe with his yellow shirt.

Thanks for the welcome everyone B)

I'm not voting in here because I think Reality shows are for people, that like to watch other people making absolute fools of themselves .... I don't watch any Reality shows at all. Every other show on the TV these days is a Reality show, and I have to ask " Why do they like to degrade, and humiliate people that way " and why do people participate ( it's probably the money ) B) B) :(
I only hope that it's only a fad, then we get back to real reality B)

Spock for me, though I got very emotional when Lal died. I got very upset for Data in that episode. B)

Cringe ! Only if they do it properly. Kirk never met the Borg, or ever mentioned them. B)
