  1. I once lived in a house that gave off a bad feeling. There were shadows, and cold spots, and I couldn't wait to leave that house.

I had similar experiences in my old apartment, which has led me to do extensive research on the paranormal. While scientific evidence exists, there are always contradictions. And for me, when I went to take a shower and came back into my bedroom and my trash can was upside down on my waterbed, that pretty much sealed the deal for me. Along with my cat refusing to enter the room and the door slamming for no reason. I lived alone at the time, so the trash can deal was pretty much unexplainable.

  2. I'm putting a link in a spolier here...some of these sound a little unbelieveable, but shooting just started Jun 26. There are disclamers on the website about how some things may change, but this source seems reliable. So be warned: If you DON'T want to know, then don't click this link

  3. But T'Pol's ponn farr episode. wow. lol.

Just a quick question: Does anyone remember the name of the episode where T'Pol went through Pon-Farr? For the life of me, I can't remember!

  4. I agree that fans were used to Star Trek being a certain way.  Voyager was definite a series that broke the "MOLD" so to speak.  But I guess that was why it became my favorite series.

I agree. People are afraid of change, yet change is a part of humanity. Nothing can stay the same forever. Voyager also became my favorite series...i'm just waiting on the DVD releases...thank you lay-away!!

  5. Spocks World.by Diane Duane. Holy &*(^ it's the longest most boring book I've ever read..I don't think I've ever even finished it!

I have just begun reading this title. From what you have said, it apparently doesn't get any better. I havent gotten through half of it yet, and nothing of importance has happened. Thanks for the Heads-Up. I think it's just time for me to go get "Homecoming: Book 2" and start on S.C.E. book 2 as well.

  6. I recently started reading "Spock's World" The premise looked promising, but so far i'm having a hard time getting into it. I am going to keep going, in hopes the storyline gets a little more interesting and the author veers away from so many needless details about the landscapes on Earth.

  7. No one has got a female yet. Are you sure there are females in this quiz ?

Actually, i'm not sure if there are females or not. The quiz seemed quite generic, and I got Mr. Spock when I did it. And since there hasn't been a female as of yet, there may be none.

  8. wow! Looks like I have more to buy...i have every single one, starting out from the Galleilo shuttlecraft that has Spock saying "Shuttlecraft to Enterprise, Spock here. Happy Holidays. Live Long, and Prosper"

That thing provided endless amounts of fun when I was a child

  9. I highly recommend it. I got it about a week after it came out, and was shocked at the depth this game posesses. You start out in a Klingon Campaign, then onto the Federation and Romulan. The storyline is also very compelling, and the game isn't 2 dimensional, i.e. get in a ship and destroy everything that moves. There are covert missions, rescue missions, recon...everything you would want in a Trek game. So go buy it and have fun, IMO

  10. Just wondering if anyone has read this book. I picked it up the other night because S.C.E. book 1 wasn't in, and I had to get something. Turning out to be a very good book. I recommend it. Any thoughts on this?

In "Shadow" someone is trying to kill 7 of 9 and no one knows what or who is trying, as they are covering their tracks throughly. I am only halfway through the book, but it is really keeping my attention.

  11. I started out playing alto sax in 5th grade. Played that until 9th grade when i switched to tenor. In 11th, i switched to Baritone for marching band and tuba for concert band. My senior year I marched bass and made All-State in West Virginia on tuba. In college at Marshall University, I played contra for 3 years and was in symphony before giving up band...too time consuming. I never took lessons, just learned in school and taught myself. It was a lot of fun...made a lot of lasting friendships from band. It's a shame that music programs are being cut all the time...there just isn't any emphasis on the arts anymore, except for pop culture...which is a waste of time IMO...most aren't real musicans...they can sing, but can;t play an instrument and everything is synthesized.

In the newest Voyager novel "Homecoming", Harry gets promoted along with Vorik and Lyssa Cambell. I know the book isn't canon, but it still answers that question. Paris and Torres both became Lt. Commanders, and Janeway to Admiral as well.

  13. That thing's $80! :wow: I've found it easier to leave the lights off till it gets dark outside...

True, but where's the fun in that?? :o

Eh, I'd take my $80 and put it toward a TNG or DS9 season set.

Lay-away is the best invention in the world!

That's exactly what I'd put the $80 toward, as I save it up. For you guys, it may not be much money, but for me, it's a lot!

Oh it is for me too...i'm the king of lay-away. I have rent, bills, insurance, all kinds of stuff to worry about before I can buy stuff for me
