The following takes place between April 9th and April 14th.
Okay, I think my screen name gives away the fact that I'm a big fan of the show 24. Well, this week I'm going to incorporate that into this week's trivia. Many of you may not know this but a great deal of Star Trek guest stars have also appeared on 24, many in regular roles. So here's how its going to work:
I will give you the name of a character from 24. For instance:
NSA Director Roger Stanton
The correct answer will be to give me the name of the actor (in this case, Harris Yulin) and one role they played on Star Trek (so Yulin played Gul Darhe'el/Aaman Marritza on DS9 (Either answer would be acceptable in that case). Some actors have played multiple roles but you only need to give one.
I realize not everyone watches 24 but with a little searching, I don't think it will be too bad.
I've limited the character choices to seasons 1-4 as season 5 is ongoing and some members are at different points in the season based on where they live.
So let's get started, because the clock is ticking...
-
I also enjoy My Name Is Earl. Its an original concept and is pretty funny.
Ironically, I actually consider it to be the least funny (relative scale) of what I considered to be the top 4 comedies on network television (behind Scrubs, The Office and the unfairly cancelled and utterly brilliant Arrested Development). Still pretty funny but I just laugh more with the other three.

Based on lack of competence or I just don't like them, or both.
Captain: Captain J.T. Estaban (ST III)/Timothy Watters (Valiant, DS9)
XO: Commander Hobson (Redemption, TNG)/Karen Ferris (Valiant, DS9)
CMO: Doctor Katherine Pulaski
Chief Engineer: Lt. Logan (The Arsenal of Freedom, TNG)
Helm: Lt. Riley Aldrin Shepard (Valiant)
Tactical: Random TOS Red Shirt
Science: Commander Bruce Maddox (competent, just don't like the guy. Although he does redeem himself in Articles of the Federation for defending B4 in a hearing similar to Data's in Measure of A Man, TNG).
Operations: Chief Dorian Collins (Valiant, DS9)
Communication: Lt. Aquiel Uhnari (lack of choice and she's a little annoying)
Basically, if you don't like Data or were a member of Red Squad, I don't like you.

How is this a cold war?
Thats easy the weather's gotten decidedly dodgy in the future hence.
Also nobody has answered my question 4 - How did future-starfleet know that there had been temporal changes ?
They must have some form of temporal shielding similar to the alternate Voyager in Year of Hell.
-
It is unclear exactly how the "Relativity" Braxton later remembers the events of a timeline that never existed, but it seems likely that the effects of temporal psychosis cause such an event. There's what Memory Alpha has to say about this. It's in the Captain Braxton entry.

Answer: Admiral Toddman
But I will be accepting Norah Satie and Leonard H. McCoy.
I poorly phrased the question, it should have read who was the only admiral to be seen a uniform colour other then red for command.
