  1. Yeah Gene Roddenberry and the powers that be were always arguing about what they could and could not show. he fought hard just to keep Mr. Spock as a character, the network people thought he looked too much like Satan. But Gene managed to keep him in. Also the kiss between Captain Kirk and Lt. Uhura was a big mess with the big-wigs, they did not want to show a white man kissing a black woman, but Gene fought for it along with Bill Shatner and Nichelle Nichols who thought it would be great. The powers that be do not care for a good story, all they care about is the profits they will be making from the story or show. Now Gene, he cared for the stories and wanted them told the way they should have been told.

  2. I haven't seen anyone mention the scene in the apartment where...

Archer has T'Pol untie the human. The human thinks he's to be set free, Archer has him stand up and then punches his lights out then tells T'Pol to tie him up again saying "I didn't feel right doing that while you were tied up". The guy still refuses to help so Archer says, "Untie him again" and the guy quickly provides the information needed. I LOVED that! Classic stuff!

That was a good scene. I gave this episode a 9. I thought it was very entertaining and I do like a good ole fashion 'Time Travel' episode!

  3. I voted hard rock, mainly classic heavy metal like Led Zepplin, Grand Funk Railroad, Deep Purple, etc My favorite band is Pink Floyd. Now I may be considered an "Old Guy" to some posters here, but I look at myself as early middleaged :dude: and I still enjoy new rock as well. I listen to Linkin Park, Limp Biscut, Rob Zombie, Puddle of Mud, Desturbed, and a few other new hard rock bands.Guitar.gif

  4. I would have to say Franklyn D. Roosevelt. he was the right guy to have in the White House during World War 2 and he help bring the country out of its economic depression. He may have been crippled by Polio but he was a strong willed man that had the love of a nation.

I had always liked Kennedy, but if he were president today peop[le would have a whole different outlook on him. His extra-marital affairs would put Bill Clinton's affair to shame,at least JFK had Marylin Monroe on the side and not some young intern.

  5. I'm all for chiropractors, they've helped me when I had a back injury. After going to them a couple of times my back began to feel better and better with each visit. I haven't been to a chiropractor in a couple of years now and my back still feels fine. I highly recommend going to visit one, they do know what they are doing. But i would suggest you do some research on the local chiropractors in your area to see which ones you think would be the one to work on you.

  6. I love Aerosmith, one of the best bands still around. As for any member of the band looking like a girl, well I don't see it. If any of them look like a girl then they would have to be some VERY ugly looking girls! Steve Tyler is DA MAN!Guitar.gif

Nothing Gothic about Kiss or Aerosmith, theyn are just good ROCK AND ROLL! Now Marilyn Manson, thats some Gothic stuff right there.

  7. Good episode, I was glad to see the way the challenges went and their outcomes.

I knew if Rupert won the breakfast he'd give it to someone else. I just have to wonder about Burton though, I think they should have gotten rid of him before getting Ryan O out of there. As usual I still hope Jon goes SOON!

Rupert looks like he's marked now, he really needs to win a lot of immunity. I think it was a mistake not to vote Burton off and I really hope the women decide to get rid of Jon soon.

I totally agree with you. Jon has to go, he certainly has let us know he plans to stab everyone in the back to win this game. Rupert is about the only honest hardest worker on the island. I'll certainly be pissed if Rupert goes before Jon.

  8. I want to wish all my fellow veterans well. And for those who have not served please shake the hand of a veteran you know and say "Thanks".

And this is the only time you'll see my full name!

  9. I agree, I thought Savage was a good enough fellow and was sad to see him go and angry that idiot Jon was not voted off. If Jon is not voted off next week then all is wrong with the world! :o

Rupert is great and if he goes before Jon does I may have to stop watching the show.Hopefully since the tribes have merged the others that don't know Jon will see what an a$$hole he is and let him go. But then again it could be the Drake stratagy to get rid of all the Morgans first.
