  1. Almond.

I voted for "Tan," but that's only because there was no "I have no preference" option and the board wouldn't let me get away with voting under just two of the three questions.

    No, I think it's silly.

  2. If you don't want your kids to learn that, may I suggest you keep your kids away from it.

The problem is it's someone else's kids - not your own that are going to kill you.

So because some parents are bad, others should take drastic measures?

That's what law and society is all about - protecting people from the action's of others

That still leads back to the parents, rather than the company that put out the game.

not that I consider changing the rating on a video game a drastic measure. It sounds more symbolic than actually useful.

Raising the game's rating would prevent it from being sold in stores. I'd say that's a bit more than "symbolic." But all in all, if MADD has an issue with the game, they should bring it to the parents, not the company.

  3. IT'S A [bLEEP]ING GAME!!!!!! GRANTED IT PORTRAYS THINGS IN REAL LIFE AND WE ALL KNOW IT'S NOT FUNNY. BUT REALLY, GTA HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE THE LATE 90'S...TO GIVE A GAME AN STRICTER RATING IS A DIRECT VIOLATION OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT.

    No, it's not -

I agree with TUH. Of course its not a violation. Besides, this game emphasizes lawlessness and just plain thuggery. Great things for our kids to learn...... :) I fully support the stricter rating.

Kids are smarter than some people give them credit for. They know the difference between video games and reality.

  4. Yes that could be true I can't disagree with you. One question this ep. was in the fifth season 1998-99 the 4th ep. aired that season do you think that they did it on purpuse or did they not have the idea of enterprise that early?

I just watched the episode for the first time this morning and I do think it's very possible and most likely that Archer is a "real" person at Starfleet, they were supposed to be just a matter of weeks away from going to Earth to infiltrate, so she would half to be someone that would be there I would think. Other wise how could she replace someone that doesn't exist?

I'd say that she was a real person. S8472 duplicated Boothby, who, as we all know from the TNG episode "The First Duty," is a real person, so it's likely that all the other "people" were duplicates of real people as well.
