  1. Va Beach Guy...I listened to you (first I thought you sounded a lot like Worf :assimilated:) & notice just a little twang.

I have a mixture of accents from several states I've lived in (plus I had to take lessons to rid myself of one of them many years ago so I could do my job).

  2. I was watching the 'Mark Twain' eps. the other night & I have a question...It sure seemed to me as if there was a implication that Picard & Guinan had some type of intimate relationship that I don't recall being mentioned, really, before or after these eps. Now what I mean by intimate I'm not exactly sure. I know they always had a special relationship where she was granted liberties even his Bridge Crew wasn't but in these eps. there were glances, touches & things said (and unsaid) that implied more. Am I nuts?

  3. I did a search (and am sure I somehow must've missed it) but can't find this topic. Mods please move this to the correct area. Thank you.

I finally finished d/l it today but at about 1:45:00 will have to set aside time to watch it. Anybody see it, like it?

  4. This was a very hard choice.

I liked so many of them -- so I guess I'll have to put the women up there first: Seven of Nine, Janeway, B'Elanna. [The fact that this was such a female-led ship was a new direction for the Trek franchise & I admired it.] Then Chakotay, Kim & Paris. I think I can safely say, tho, my least favorite character was Neelix.

Oops, how could I forget the EMH. I'd definitely put him at the top of the list of guys.

  5. I just read the article at syfy portal & don't hold out much hope. I agree, it got better all the time -- even during a ep. which I didn't think would hold my interest got more & more interesting as it went on. Too bad, SciFi Channel hasn't said anything. I guess we couldn't expect it to be picked up that quickly.

  6. Poor kid... (for those who might not recall, she played Naomi on Voyager).

    'Reba' co-star treated for anorexia

    Associated Press

NEW YORK - The actress who plays Reba McEntire's youngest daughter on "Reba" has anorexia.

People magazine says Scarlett Pomers checked into a treatment center when her weight dropped to 73 pounds. Pomers is 5 feet 2 and usually weighs about 100 pounds.

Her publicist says castmates noticed Pomers getting skinnier and becoming "quiet and depressed." She says Pomers was "barely eating, and exercising as much as six hours a day."

Pomers now wants her fans to know "there's no shame in being ill and seeking help."
