  1. Of course it's still valuable and relevant to modern day audiences!! (and the votes agree with me 100% ) It's funny, interesting, good entertainment, thouhgtful, and it's interesting to see how television has changed.

  2. I haven't seen many entire episodes of TOS, nore do I know the names of most of them that I have seen (part of, or all of), so, my favourite of the ones that I know the name and have seeen all of, would be Trouble with Tribbles. My all time favourite was City on the Edge of Forever. The day I saw that episode, I had just finished reading Imzadi by Peter David,, and it gave me the creeps, because that book deals with the Guardian of Forever, for those who haven't read it, and I was just wondering whether the Guardian had appeared in and st episodes. I turn on the TV and lo and behold  lol. But seriously, those two are my favourite.Still haven't seen the cage

  3. It doesn't really seem all that unlikely to me...I mean, sometimes huge changes can take place really quickly, even though the struggle to get them there may take much longer. I mean, that the struggle can take ages, but the actual change may only take a few years. Like the Internet for example. Or different types of surgery. I dunno, but 100 years feels like a long time, to me...

Except that after reading that 100 years isn't even a lifetime for a vulcan, it does seem a bit more unlikely...

  4. I first saw the one with that "perfect machine"...I think it was called nomad (the machine AND the episode, I mean). This was before I had really even heard much about star trek, and I couldn't stop laughing at how everyone was scared at this cardboard box. I haven't seen it since, but I don't think I thought it was a very good episode...

  5. I wish I'd seen them - I've always wanted to know about the Horta after I read about it in one of the books (I THINK - correct me if I;m wrong - that it was the Dyson's Sphere book). What exactly ARE they??

  6. I don't think so at all! Each star trek is good in it's onwn way, and has it's strengths and weaknesses, and so what if the FX aren't that good, and the plots are a bit off the wall (only some of them), we watch it for other reasons, like the characters, the acting, the good plots, and the knowledge that this was the show that started it all (plus, watching the FX can be pretty funny, as well as shatner's over-acting)

  7. What are you talking about? Don't you think Riker's hot?

Ok, lol, thanks alterego . Sorry, but seriously. I think Riker with Q powers would be worse than Q...no offense Rikerchick!! I love Riker, but I don't think him and Q powers would be a great mix...
