Seen Any Good Movies Lately?

Recommended Posts

Well, I just rewatched most of the 1984 film: "Revenge of the Nerds"...

Go Tri-Lambdas! :(

Also watched a little of "Gattaca" [1997], and "Dr. Strangelove" [1964]...

I just watched  "Man on Fire"  with Denzel Washington.  About a kidnapping in Mexico.  I liked it!  I like Denzel Washington, BTW.  I've seen many of his flix. :(

I just finished watching the two films of “Dementia 13” [1963] and “Last Man On Earth” [1964], which stars Vincent Price.

I thought the latter was fantastic, about a post-plague world inhabited by Vincent Price and the infected ones, who are rather zombie-ish, allergic to garlic, and dislike mirrors... The last scenes of this film I quite enjoyed. :sly:

Dementia 13” wasn't as great, but I still seemed to enjoy it.

A film produced by Roger Corman.

Wish I could say yes but no. We saw Elf and The Stepford Wives remake this week. :nono:

On a brighter note I was able to buy SW Episode 2 from the video store for only $10 (I stalled on buying it right away thinking it would be around forever, not...) He didn't know what he had, none of the regular retailers are stocking it any more because Lucas pulled it. He could have charged me anything! :( :nono:

It's been so long since I've seen an adult movie. :o Which means something with adult content, so don't be getting any ideas. :waaaa:

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'd say The Polar Express.

Just as good as the book, although longer.

Definitely something I'd watch every year at holiday time. :waaaa:
