what did every one give up for lent?

my brother gave up gum, my friend gave up junk food, and i gave up talking.. in fact im going insain cuz i cant talk.. i dont think ill last the who 40 days well i know i wont last but hey im trying.

I gave up smoking 3 weeks ago...hmmm mabe thats why i am

in such a bad mood...hehe

I gave up junk food. I think I can do it. I like junk food but I love vegetables as well. I love salad.

 

And Ikbefgraagseven, it is part of the Catholic religion. I assume it is part of the Christian religion, but Catholicism is really the only one in the Christian religion that I am sure about.

Bysty, as far as I know Catholics and (I think) Episcopalian's are the only ones that observe Lent.

Hmm. Did not know that. So why the big hype about Easter all over if Lent is really only observed by a very few.
