I suppose that because I am such a book lover I voted for the holodeck. To me it seems like the perfect escape. A place where you actually live the book and experience it without the limitations of your imagination. To actually particpate in a James Bond story would be cool!

I voted for the replicator. It would really come in handy. I also would like to add that a dermal regenerator would also be beneficial to today's world.

My favorite Star Trek technology is Data! My next favorite is Warp Drive - just think of the "day trips" you could take! (Now a day trip is going from LA to San Diego.)

Ok, the transporter would have been cool, but I voted holodeck. There you can play out your own role in a "game" which is very realistic, and you will be safe all the time. (Expect from then the holodeck is malfunctioning...)

I had a hard time choosing between the dermal regenerator, warp drive and holodeck. I ended up choosing the holodeck, because I'd love a place where you can participate in an interactive, 3-D story.
