cptwright 1 Posted October 6, 2003 i was just noticing some of the avatars and there are some funny ones, goofy ones, cool ones, what the F... ones, so i was just wondering if any of yours have meaning. if you havent noticed most of mine have to do with firefighting. more over different fire co. patches, oe stickers. my current one is a tribute to the firefighters that died in the WTC on 09/11/01. their last alarm. so whats yours? My second was just a flash movie i made with the Enterprise E and my user name The one i have now is of Super Sayin 2 Gohan from the Anime Dragonball Z.He was always my favorite character(when he was about 12 not older)from the show and i think he looks awsome standing there with a pissed off look with all that power surrouding him.Its that look that says"You pissed me off so know your gonna die!!" Mr.Picard 12 Posted October 6, 2003 Uhm, my avatar changes every two months It always includes Patrick Stewart This one shows a "behind the scenes" - shot fom "Generations", Patrick and Brent in astrometrics I really like it because both of them seem to have a great time I found this pic somewhere, I don't exactly know where I got it from (I have so many pics, it is difficult to remember where I got every one from). Takara_Soong 4 Posted October 6, 2003 When I first arrived at STF my avatars were pictures of Data that I changed depending on my mood. Then I came across a picture of Lore that I really liked so I used that. When I switched back to Data, my beloved sister, Lessa Soong, missed the Lore avatar (I had it up so long she was really associating me with it lol) so I switched back after finding more pictures. After acquiring the SWISH software and a DVD player that takes screenshots, I put together this flash animation of Lore in the episode Brothers. Captain Bolivar 0 Posted October 9, 2003 My avatar was originally my head on Bashirs body in front of a DS( turbo lift backing. I also changed his uniform color to red to go with my name of Captain Bolivar. Then when my name was changed I made my uniform blue like it was origially. I need to change it back to red now that I'm a commander. I blacked out all the background and got myself some color codes for LCARS buttons and started drawing some. The final result is me in starfleet blue in front of a computer panel. I liked that the lighting on the picture of Bashir was somewhat orange in glow; this later matched the orange glow that might come from a computer terminal with several orange lights. But the girl in green is supposed to be me, the one in profile is Yillara(whose name is my screen name) from my story. In the past I had a pic of Data that I took from the Nemesis DVD insert and placed his portrait on a star background (my eternal favorite of Trek, and sci-fi in general ), A pic of Yillara by herself, my first avatar was Yillara asleep(my image was refelected, in the full pic she is lying on a floor or floating on water, do not remember offhand which). Yillara Skye Soong is a lot like me, so that is why I have in the past used pics of her that I have done on the computer. I also had a pic of me when I ran the Olympic Torch for the 2002 Winter Olympics, I ran one leg of the trip(2/10ths of a mile) , right near one of my hometown's landmarks. That was a special day/event in my life. Another pic of me was when I was competing on the balance beam at the 1994 Ormond Beach Invitational(I won that event ), it also said the years that I was a gymnast (1983-2003). My injury I received at work 4 months ago has left me at least partially disabled, so I had to retire from the sport and coaching. That pic went up around a month after my injury marking the end of an era in my life. I do not know when I will next change my avatar or what or who it will be.....
