Personal log, 4/18/05, 7:57 PM

Oh dear. *yawns* I had to get up soooo early today. *shudders*

But I at least met another great person at university. My other professor, the one from the other English class (not that O'Brien guy) is from England, meaning: Yorkshire  <_<  He opened his mouth and said one sentence and I was like: OH MY GOSH, now where do I know that accent from...  :o I could have listened to him for hours!

Here's today's Pat pic of the moment:

Thanks for the information... and as for the two love brids... please don't fight over a dumb actor and a great actor about who is better.

I hope you meant to say that Pat is the great actor... <_< Don't worry, I won't start a fight. I'm too old for pointless arguments.

Distinguished suits him better. :o

Before anyone else says it: I know, I love him whatever he's wearing - or not wearing. :hmmm:

Personal log, 4/19/05, 7:40 PM

What a stressful day today. *is exhausted* I need holidays. *pout*

Anyways. I'm glad to be home right now, and it's only one more day to go for me and then - weekend  I'm sooo looking forward to having more time for being here. I also hope I can make it to answer this week's trivia questions...

Personal log, 4/20/05, 9:11 PM

Not much to report for today. University is stressing the h*ll out of me, I'm glad to have a few days off now...

But guess what happened. Our professor gave us HOMEWORK. HOMEWORK!!! :yahoo: I'm not a schoolgirl anymore. :nono: It is more than unusual to get homework at university... oh dear... I feel like being back in school again...

It could be worse. You could have only one day off and still have to the homework. When I was in college I always had homework from my professors. There must be a big difference on the education systems in every country.

Everything here depends on the students themselves. We're expected to go for additional information on our own, meaning: spending days at the library, reading books and such stuff (which no one does, of course :nono: ), that's what makes homework quite unnecessary, at least that is the usual case. :yahoo: That professor doesn't seem to agree.

Mrs. Picard what was your homework, because I can tell you mine? Mine is to make a story to put on TV about a test that 10th graders must pass next year to get out of high school. Does that sound fun to you?

Oh, my homework consists of many tasks, reading some articles in books, doing exercises... it's not just one big homework thingy, that would not have annoyed me that much, it's the fact that that professor loves to give us worksheets and stuff. :yahoo:

But your homework does not sound like fun indeed.

Personal log, 4/21/05, 7:44 PM

My birthday today. Gee, I hate getting older. I spent the day watching my First Contact Special Edition and the first part of Lord Of The Rings. And I got a whole cake from my grandma! :P Now how am I supposed to eat a whole cake? B) I also got TNG novels and lots of money. *hehe*

I am currently listening to all the interviews with Pat I found in the last two years. I absolutely adore his voice. It's so deep, wonderful and it sounds like, as John de Lancie once put it "thunder dipped in honey". I adore the whole man, of course, but his voice is something I really love.

Oh dear, I shouldn't listen to those interviews. They make me sound like a teenager in love. :yahoo::nono:

Oh I love his voice. :yahoo:

He, James Earl Jones and Sean Connery have the most sexy voices.

Though some like Alan Rickman's, I don't get that one.

So, do you have a PS cut out too Mrs. Picard?:nono:

I love Pat's voice more than any other voice... I also tend to like Sir Ian McKellen's voice, though.

Oh, of course, I have two life size cut outs from Jean-Luc Picard. :dude:

Personal log, 4/23/05

Not much for today. I watched Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship Of The Ring and couldn't help drooling at the sight of Sir Ian McKellen...

I realxed the whole day through and now I am looking forward to having a nice evening in front of the computer.

Wouldn't it be GREAT if Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen where in the same movie together. :dude: Wait minute, I forgot the X-Men! :dude: They should be in more movies together! :dude:

They did a play on stage toghether, too, in the 60s... they should do one again...

But Paddy's my only hero, of course :dude:

Not much for today. I watched The Lord Of The Rings - The Two Towers and I'm thinking about watching the last one of the movies as well in case I can't fall sleep later. :dude: Not that I find the movies boring, though... I really like them *nods*.

I'm not very much looking forward to tomorrow. I have to get up early and go to university. *sigh* :dude:

Whoa, good news today. Pat lately seems to love doing TV shows. He has not only signed to do another TV show (Eleventh Hour), but also decided to appear in an episode of a new series by a British comedian... as himself. B) I can't wait to get my hands on the DVD. If it ever comes out on DVD, that is. I wish I lived in England. *sigh* But at least it is not impossible to get things on DVD from England over here, it would be a lot more diffcult it if was an American TV series.

Here's the good news:

STEWART TO JOIN EXTRAS CAST

PATRICK STEWART has joined the all-star cast for RICKY GERVAIS' new British TV comedy EXTRAS - even though the GOLDEN GLOBE-winning funnyman pokes fun at his varied acting career.

THE OFFICE creator and his writing partner STEPHEN MERCHANT have penned an episode which makes fun of Stewart's appearances in cult sci-fi series STAR TREK as well as his more serious work on the London stage.

A set insider tells British newspaper THE SUN, "In every episode, Ricky finds some way to mock his guest stars by taking the mickey out of (poking fun at) their public persona.

"Patrick will be no different. He's a serious Shakespearian actor so that's ripe for the picking. Ricky and Stephen have written a script that's got lots of references to all of Patrick's work, from Star Trek to theatre, and the X-MEN films.

Stewart will join a host of Hollywood stars including SAMUEL L JACKSON, KATE WINSLET and BEN STILLER when the first series of Extras hits British screens this summer (JUN05).
