Kor37 9 Posted December 29, 2008 Man spits on court floor after traffic conviction SANDPOINT, Idaho -A northern Idaho man convicted of a traffic violation in Bonner County was ordered to spend two days in jail after he spit on the courthouse floor in anger. First District Court Judge Justin Julian found 59-year-old Daniel Malone in contempt on Wednesday. Julian said the man glared before "maliciously expelling a large amount of saliva" onto a carpet in the courthouse hallway. Earlier in the day, the judge found Malone guilty of failing to obey a stop sign in September. He was ordered to pay a $75 fine. Malone said he is innocent of the traffic violation and suggested the judge should show mercy because it was Christmas Eve. Julian told Malone there was no excuse for his behavior. Malone was released from jail on Friday. :)

TJ Phaserman 2 Posted February 5, 2009 Man Boldly Robs Colo.Store With Star Trek Sword COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado police say a man with too much "Star Trek" on his mind used a sword modeled after the weapon carried by Klingon warriors to demand money from two convenience stores. Investigators say the man took an unknown amount of cash from a 7-Eleven store Wednesday but left empty-handed when he tried to rob another store about 25 minutes later. Police Lt. David Whitlock says no one was injured. The StarTrek.com Web site says the double-pointed sword used by the Klingons on "Star Trek" is crescent-shaped and about a yard long. Police did not specify what material it was made of. No one has been charged in the incident.

He Who Shall Not Be Named 2 Posted February 13, 2009 What this article didn't point out, but a couple other articles did, is that the 7-Eleven clerks at different stores knew what a Bat'Leth is.
TJ Phaserman 2 Posted March 25, 2009 ELGIN, Ill. – Police say Carliss Henderson was overjoyed when he found his dream car — a red Nissan Altima with a push-button ignition. The only catch? It was locked up in an auto dealership. According to police, around midnight Sunday, Henderson saw his dream car on the showroom floor of McGrath Nissan. They say he broke into the dealership and started the car, but couldn't find a way to get it out of the building. Angered, the 21-year-old picked up a chair and threw it at the showroom window directly behind the 2009 car, reports said. But when he put the car into reverse and tried driving backward through the broken window, the car wouldn't move, police said. He was charged with burglary and attempted theft.
