Matt 0 Posted November 10, 2005 This is a quote about William Shatner which I read in one of Vic's posts. He added that he is writing books about the adolescence of Captain Kirk, Spock, and the rest which he hopes Paramount will consider for the next Star Trek series. Personally I'd like to see it just becuase I'd like to know more about how the characters grew up and developed but I don't think this would really appeal to an audience outside of the already established fan base. Odie 0 Posted November 10, 2005 Sorry, Mr. Shatner not another series by you. I have read the books and they seemed to be ego driven. If he wanted to be in Star Trek he should not have let his character die.
MrPsychic 1 Posted November 10, 2005 I like Shatner's novels, but they all seem to make Kirk a superhero. I figure a series by him would be pretty out of character than a TOS writer.
Stephen of Borg 2 Posted November 10, 2005 I love Shatner's Trek novels but I don't like the idea of this TV series

Chataeya 0 Posted November 10, 2005 What they need is a series that lets us know about what it would be like to go through the Space Acadamy. With a bunch of charaters that have their names, or maybe something on that order..
