Takara_Soong 4 Posted June 17, 2005 On my mother's side, paternally I have traced our roots to the mid-1770s in the US. I believe that branch of the family came from Ireland but they originated in Scotland. Maternally, I've only got back as far as the 1900's. This line has roots in Germany as well as Russia (Germans in Russia). Both branches arrived in Canada around 1900. On my father's side, paternally I only go back to the 1880's Glasgow, Scotland and maternally to 1800's England (Northumberland). Paternally, my grandfather came to Canada sometime before 1911 and maternally I have traced this branch's immigration to Canada in 1868. I still have a long way to go though. HRH The KING 0 Posted June 17, 2005 His Excellency may be an alien. But he has "human" emotions, if you know what I mean. B) At some point in the future, His Royal Highness The King will write a fictional account of his family history. Rather that researching my "family tree", I'm going to devise a fictional one that over time will be accepted as fact. My Royal future will be as I want it to be and the same will apply to my past. I can rewrite my family history, because I am the King and my word is law. B) B)
