~ What Kind of Poster are YOU? ~

There must be some words to describe the "Type" of poster you are. Let me think about this and I'll post some. Talk about the poll and some of the things in it. You can only mark one, I know that, just pick the one that is most like you then elaborate on the others. :o OR you can think up a name for the kind of poster you think you are. :o

I think it's like group therapy AND I make new threads when I'm bored. Alot of my threads get moved and alot of my posts get deleted. :o

I am a *crash and burn* poster. I post alot for a few weeks then go dormant. I love to write stories like ~~~~The Days After~~~~ then I'll lay back and think and hope I can find another story to play with. I hope this makes sense. I also like story challenges.

As a moderator I read through all the posts on my forums and keep up-to-date with the rest of the board as well. I don't generally have to do too much moderating as most of the members here apply common sense to abide by the rules and post some very interesting topics. We are lucky to have such a great membership.

 

After doing all that I tend to join in the topics that I find interesting or start a few of my own if I think of something new that I would like to discuss.

I just post where I feel like I can make a contribution to the discussion, nowadays.

 

When I first started posting here, I basically tore through the forums and posted a bunch(though a large portion of the posts were done in the Games forum). There were times when I was here up to around 15 - 17hours a day(orthrough the night).

 

But since about July last year, it has been just read some...post some, maybe. I think the longest I have stayed activel on the boards here since was about an hour or two.

Usually I just do the most recent topics from the Home-page but when I have more time I wander throught the site until I see something that peeks my interest.

I have been online a bit more lately. I am closing in on finally reaching 5000 posts. But after that, I may spend more time offline at least off the boards.. with school, and work, and competitions/performances, and hanging out more with my best friend from work/school. So I may go back to an occasional and sporadic poster for a while.

I read some threads and not make posts. Sometimes you need to read them to know Exactly what they are about. Sometimes I may not have a strong opinion or others have already said what I think. Was there a category - make a post just to post? Seems like that can ocassionaly happen too. :P

I usually only post off the list on the front page, as this site is so vast, that it's hard to explore everything.

 

I sometimes go to the other forums and explore if I'm not multitasking, or if I'm not posting on some of my favorite sites.

 

I must admit to liking Trek, but wow!! Not to the knowledge that alot of you have, and thus this is also why I don't post on many threads. Intimidated.
