edmcgon 0 Posted October 7, 2003 "City on the Edge of Forever". It may be the best episode of any tv show ever. It is one of the few episodes I would say impacted my life. When I hear about bad things happening to good people, I think of this episode and realize that maybe these things are happening for a good reason of which I may not be aware. There is an episode featuring Majel Barret as Number One, and Captain Pike is in command of the Enterprise. I think that would be "Where No Man Has Gone Before". I don't believe I had seen the episode " City on the Far Edge of Forever" . I guess this is because they weren't "aired" as often and I didn't get to see them as much growing up ... episodes like: "Spock's Brain" (I love any episode that takes the crew to the surface of an unknown planet! "Shore Leave", "The Apple", etc.) "And The Children Shall Lead" (what a scarry monster and episode!) "Spectre Of The Gun" (killer excursion into surrealism!)
