Well, what can you do when you get stuck behind a potato truck while driving thru farmland but think about potatoes. One of the potato chips listed on the poll is actually made in the county in which I live. I've never tried them but I pass the farm and their sign everyday going home from work (well going to as well but it's on the other side of the road) My mom has some friends at church that are farmers and according to them the majority of the potatoes grown in this area become chips. I've seen Lays signs as well. So the next time you crunch on a chip just think I may have driven by its field when it was just a tuber. If you've never been stuck behind a potato truck, well that's a new experience - they move very slowly and on two lane roads that can be a problem. I will be glad when potato season is over. The good news is you can buy a 20 pound bag of potatoes for $3.00 And one of the little towns I drive thru has an annual cabbage and potato festival. Wow.
