Something I Noticed

i was watching an episode of ds9 and noticed that when quark killed the kligon at the begining his blood was red. i thouht that kligon blood was pink?

It was pink in the movie The Undiscovered Country, but in TNG and DS9, whenever they cut themselves with those multi-edge knife things they have bled red blood.

I would agree with AE on this one. I think that it was done differently in TUC to place more attention on the blood. Also, I am sure that it is cheaper for them to produce the red blood effect than it is to make them bleed pink.

it wasn't pink it was violet in the undiscovered country. or fuscia.

The blood in TUC was pink in order to avoid an R rating. So I guess it is kind of artisitc license.

yet on "Generations" Klingon blood was red.

Changing times? By the time "Generations" came out, we'd seen someone's naked @ss on NYPD Blue ... During primetime on network television, no less.

For Some Reason They Bleed Red On TV.

It was pink only in TUC. All episodes/ movies besides TUC have red Klingon blood.

I wish they had kept the Klingon blood pink :dude: lol I thought it was kinda funny, big tough guys, who are bright pink deep down inside
