Deku Delight- a U.S. Peace Corp Recipe

 

1 doz smoked cane rats-soak in water for 30 minutes

Prepare a sauce of tomato, onion, piment and palm oil.

Drain and skin rats--Fry 20 minutes turning occasionally!!

I'd have to say HeadBorg, rats, hmmm, never tried them. but I guess it's all in what your used to, hey?

 

I like to have those Mauruchan Lunch in a cup noodles, Cheddar Cheese. Then I cut up a couple of those imitation crab meat stick thingys, they come frozen, then stick a sliced of cheese in there too, break it up first, then pour the boiling water over everything and let it sit covered, next to you computer, until you get hungry. It can last all day. I guess this would be the opposite of Gourmet cooking, but I think it's better than rat, and that's just MY opinion. So HeadBorg, please, can you leave those poor little animals alone?

You know HeadBorg. With a little tweeking, this could be a true "'RAT'atouille".

Just add some zucchini, eggplant, oregano and garlic.............YUM. :huh: :huh:

Algae Puffs

A Bajorian Specialty

 

 

10 lbs. fresh algae

5 cups Pancake Batter

Mix together in a big bowl

Drop tblspn size lumps in to hot oil

Serve with Sweet & Sour Sauce for dipping

KLAH- a spicy drink served hot, posibly with milk and /or sweetening, sometimes with a splash of a warming liquor. From the planet Pern.

 

An Earth equivalent: Mix together- 2 tbls sweet ground chocolate, 1/2 cup dark cocoa, 3/8 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp dark instant coffee crystals, ground to powder, small pinch of nutmeg. 2-4 tsp of mixture per cup of boiling water.
