i love the dollar store too. Dollar Tree is my favorite also. i bought last year several novels. i found that script book at barnes and nobles for four dollars i still feel i got a good deal. i hope to find more great finds at the Dollar Tree.

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. I had a great birthday. My parents gave me the Star Trek Voyager Companion and the latest issue of The Star Trek Communicator. I hand decorated store bought cupcakes with the voyager logo, i used the gel icing tube stuff.

i've been to two conventions and that was last year. i attended a Slanted Fedora event and had better time there than the other one i attended put on by one of the bigger companies that does star trek conventions. one recommendation i have is bring more money than you think you'll need so you don't have to run to an atm, and bring at least two things of film or disposable cameras because you will go through them real fast if your like me.

i'm an open trekkie and my friends know it and respect me. my nickname and dj name for the school radio station is trekkie. it's how people recognize me. i wear my star trek shirt to school at least once a week. i don't care what people think. i don't care if they hate star trek, i respect their opinions and they respect mine. i enjoy talking and sharing my love of star trek. some people are amazed by what i tell them.

i am so open about being a trekkie i am proud of the fact that i made the front page of a local newspaper for standing two hours in the rain to see william shatner do a charity boat ride.

i actually had to get cable in my room just so no one else in my family had to watch trek even though they do enjoy it once in a while but not as much as me. people should not call a person names because of their love of star trek.

i'm also one of those who watches spike for tng, and also the occasional episode of real tv. starting in april i will be watching it for both tng and ds9.

that's sad news. i used to watch captain kangaroo and mister rogers all the time when i was younger. it's hard to believe that a few of my childhood idols have passed on within the past year. i will miss captain kangaroo along with mister rogers.

the park's website says new for 2004. but doesn't say if it will open the day the park opens so i guess you just have to assume that.

i'm a college student and i participate in work study. which means i sit in a little whole in the wall called the video store and rent out movies. i make $5.60 an hour which isn't to bad considering i started out at $5.15 an hour 2 years ago.

i'm working on my associates degree in liberal arts i graduate in may. after that i don't know what i want to do.

the article says that Paramount Parks is going to open its third major attraction the Borg Assimilator Coaster at Paromount Park's Carowinds in North Carolina.It's the first coaster the have the Star Trek License.
