hardcover or paperback book?

i go to the drive in at least once a summer. one year we went three times. it was the year the first spiderman,scooby doo and one other movie came out. i went and saw jurassic park when it first came out and it was even more frightening because there was a thunderstorm.

i am totally a public star trek fan. my dj name for the school radio station was trekkie and people would call me that and i've worn my t-shirts at least once a week and i wore my uniform shirt to school once on halloween. i made the front page of a local paper once because i stood in the rain for two hours to see shatner while wearing my one shirt. i've flashed the sign. i've told strangers about being a fan. i've told my college professors i've written papers. i feel fortunate in that i know several people that i can talk trek and other sci fi related topics. so i've very public about my fandom.

i picked mine up this weekend. all three that were available on the newstand. and a friend is giving me the fourth one that's just for subscribers that he recieved in the mail.

i won in feb. of last year. i won a five cd rom set related to the animated series. so it is possible to win a giveaway.

95% of my christmas was star trek stuff. the only non trek items were a vcr, the 90's edition of trivial pursuit, a pair of slippers, and a pair of jeans. i also received a space checkers set from the 70's that's similar to the tri level chess. i received the following star trek stuff: a phaser, 38 comic books, three hallmark ornaments;picard,riker and data, two voyager novels, two t-shirts one says beam me up and the other advertises generations, and and an audio book the nitpickers guide to tng which sadly is a misprint because its the tape for the original series nitpickers guide. i also received some money and bought myself a set of astrojax and two enterprise figures at toys r us for $2.40 each. that was my christmas. i nicknamed it my trekkie christmas.

i would have loved to have gotten a season of any of the series or a trip but i love what i received. someday when i have the funds maybe i can give myself those things.

i started off with paint but now i use photoshop all the time especially after taking a class in it at college. i still use paint . i've started to teach some of my family members how to use photoshop.

my dad did. he bought his pickup truck through ebay motors. he had one problem. he paid a 100 deposit to a company to pick it up and deliver it and they kept asking for more money. so my dad said to heck with them and bought two bus tickets to texas for him and my mom to go down and get it and drive it back up to ny. other than that the truck is what he's wanted and he's happy.

yes i refer to myself as stvoyagerfan mostly i go by do trekkie. that's the only way people associate me. they do know about my screen name but they like the trekkie better. it's better than getting called hey you. or you over there.

you should try submiting to the STRANGE NEW WORLDS STAR TREK book. i don't know the exact contact information but this book is a book full of stories written by star trek fans for fans. they publish a new edition every year or so. hope this helps.

those are nice. i'm looking forward the the janway and seven of nine mini bust that are supposed to come out sometime this year. i wish i could own all the mini bust. but i am just one person with a tiny budget that must pick and choose what i really really want and don't want.

i've only met three of them and that was last year and two different occasions. i met robert picardo and ethan phillips at a convention. i gave each of them a postcard of my hometown with a thank you note on it. i also met william shatner he was doing a charity boat ride and i stood on the dock for two hours in the rain to meet him.
